Domain-specific understanding of digitally represented graphs is necessary for successful learning within and across domains in higher education. Two recent studies conducted a cross-sectional analysis of graph understanding in different contexts (physics and finance), task concepts, and question types among students of physics, psychology, and economics. Izstādi “Studentu dziesmu un deju festivāls “Gaudeamus” dalībnieku atmiņās” veido bijušo un esošo Latvijas Universitātes pašdarbības kolektīvu dalībnieku fotogrāfijas no dažādiem svētkiem un ar svētkiem saistītām aktivitātēm – mēģinājumiem, svētku gājieniem un koncertiem. Tāpat izstādē iespējams iepazīties ar bijušā Deju folkloras kopas “Dandari” dalībnieka Aivara Narvaiša iespaidiem par “Gaudeamus” svētkiem, nelielu izstādē apskatāmo svētku vēsturi un interesantāko informāciju, kā arī festivāla “Gaudeamus” hronoloģiju.

Miten kirjastoille käy tulevaisuudessa? Kimmo Tuominen peilaa artikkelissaan kirjastoalan tulevaisuudesta esitettyjä ennusteita niiden toteutumiseen Jyväskylän yliopiston kirjastossa. Teknologinen kehitys on väistämätöntä ja asiakkaiden tarpeisiin voidaan sen myötä vastata aiempaa paremmin. Muutokset eivät kuitenkaan ole äkillisiä tai aikaisempia palvelumuotoja poissulkevia. Kirjasto fyysisenä tilana ei myöskään ole menettämässä asemaansa.
