The article discusses twenty tests performed by Valencian artisans to become masters of ―wire work‖ between the years 1508 and 1538. Considered minor works in the area of silver smithery, these pieces of jewellery are characterized by superimposed wire decoration. A peculiarity of these tests was that the pieces were not drawn on paper (the common practice for record-keeping purposes), but rather blackened and then stamped on- to paper. As a result, life-size and dated imprints have been preserved. as have the names of the artisans. The purpose of this paper is to study the historical contact between Aragonese and Catalan lexicon, in the context of the Romance languages, taking into account the historical influence exerted by the Aragonese on the Valencian language, which is also influenced by other Eastern peninsular dialects. We have used a method based on Geolinguistics and documentation, in order to analyze some words from popular authors from Valencia and Aragon of the XVIIIth, XIXth and XXth centuries. Abstract Abrigo de la Quebrada (Chelva, Valencia) is a Middle Palaeolithic site with Neanderthal occupations, composed by nine archaeological levels that extend from MIS 3–5 in the upper levels (II-V), up to MIS 5 in the lower levels (VI-IX), with dates for level VI of 80.0 ± 4.7 ky and 83.2 ± 5.4 ka. Level IV show short and repeated human occupations, with a high density of materials related to hunting activities focus on several ungulates as ibex, equids and cervids. However, the lower levels (VII, VIII and IX) respond to different sedimentation rates and occupations. Archaeozoological and taphonomic studies show mixed occupations. El presente artículo da cuenta de las excavaciones efectuadas en el sector norte de la necrópolis ibérica del conjunto arqueológico de El Carnoso de Andilla (Valencia). Necrópolis que estuvo en funcionamiento como mínimo durante el s. V a.C. y que hasta la fecha presenta dos modalidades de sepulturas: cubrición tumular y cremación en hoyo. Desafortunadamente las dos estructuras tumulares documentadas fueron expoliadas en el s. XVI, lo que supuso la pérdida de la valiosísima información arqueológica que hubieran proporcionado los ajuares asociados. In this paper, we present a study of a group of cooper and bronze objects that were found by chance in the Bronze Age village of L’Arbocer (Font de la Figuera, Valencia). The main aims are the description of the objects and the results of the X Ray Fluorescence analyses. Moreover; a short fieldwork season has been carried out, which has allowed us to determine the archaeological context of the metals and to establish their connection with a possible area of metallurgical activity. La excavación arqueológica en 2008 del yacimiento de la Fonteta Ràquia (Riba-Roja del Túria, València) permitió documentar un pequeño asentamiento rural de la Edetania, territorio de la antigua ciudad ibérica de Edeta / Tossal de Sant Miquel (Llíria, València). El núcleo estuvo ocupado entre finales del s. V a.C. y finales del III / comienzos del II a.C. Destaca, por encima de todo, por una gran especialización en apicultura, tal y como demuestra el hallazgo de miles de fragmentos de aproximadamente 200 colmenas cerámicas, superando con creces los registros precedentes de este tipo de actividad en Iberia y el Mediterráneo en general.
