Stromal cell-derived factor-1alpha (SDF-1alpha) is a potent chemoattractant for hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPC), suggesting that it could play an important role during their migration within or to the bone marrow (BM). Atklātā lauka tests tiek plaši izmantots, lai novērtētu un analizētu peļu spontāno jeb vispārējo lokomotoro aktivitāti. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izvērtēt peļu aktivitāti sešus mēnešus pēc insulta modelēšanas, izmantojot atklātā lauka testu. Iegūtie rezultāti rāda, ka Stroke grupas peles uzrāda ievērojami lielāku aktivitāti, griežoties pretpulksteņrādītāja virzienā, salīdzinot gan ar Naive, gan ar Sham grupas pelēm, kas norāda uz insulta bojājumu kontralaterālajā pusē. SUMMARY VCAM-1 was first identified as an adhesion molecule induced on human endothelial cells (HEC) by inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1, tumour necrosis factor (TNF), and lipopolysaccharide (LPS).
