National audience; On considère dans ce travail un système de vision hybride fixe composé d'une caméra fisheye et d'une caméra PTZ dans un environnement rigide. Nous souhaitons être en mesure d'orienter la caméra mécanisée sur une cible visible depuis l'image omnidirectionnelle de manière à obtenir une image de bonne définition de l'objet d'intérêt à partir de la caméra PTZ. Nous proposons dans cet article d'utiliser la modélisation sphérique des images ainsi que les propriétés de la géométrie épipolaire afin d'initialiser la localisation de la cible dans la caméra PTZ.

This article investigates how war between humans and aliens is framed in the original and reimagined versions of the SF television series V and the affective responses and ethical considerations that these frames evoke. Inspired by the work of Judith Butler and Sarah Ahmed and by posthumanist thinking, I analyse how SF television takes part in the cultural formation of “livable lives” for both human and nonhuman beings. It is argued that the kinds of violence that art or the media, including fiction, represent matter for the formation of ethical and political responses to violence. peerReviewed

1.Camouflage helps animals to hide from predators and is therefore key to survival. A well-known example of visual camouflage in birds is the plumage coloration of the Eurasian Treecreeper Certhia familiaris, yet this species’ camouflage has never been objectively quantified. Here, we quantify treecreeper camouflage in its boreal forest habitat, test whether treecreepers better match tree backgrounds at nest site, territory or habitat spatial scales, and explore which common tree species provide the best background match.
