„Memory turn” in the humanities allows to approach old problems from a new perspective. The author argues that the sphere of complicated Russian-Polish relations should be presented as a conflict between two distinct collective memories. The author considers “memory” as strictly interconnected with so called “non-memory” (i.e. as set of facts not related to memory or superseded by it). In principle, collective memory / non-memory can be subjected to linguistic analysis because it is verbalized and therefore it has its different verbal exponents. A study on the grammaticalization of deverbal, denominal and deadjectival prepositions in French out of Latin ablative absolute (AA) constructions has highlighted two main points of contact that could have allowed the process to take place: the preservation both of the original predicative quality and of the primal circumstantial syntactic function of the item-under-change. Tutkielmassani tarkastelen eri monikon 1. persoonan funktiossa käytettävien verbinmuotojen esiintyvyyttä ja käyttöä suomi toisena kielenä -oppijoiden teksteissä. Aiheeni on tärkeä, sillä monikon 1. persoonan funktiossa toimivien verbinmuotojen esiintyvyyttä ei ole tällä tavoin aiemmin tutkittu oppijansuomessa. Ensimmäinen tutkimuskysymykseni on miten monikon 1. persoonan funktiossa käytettävät muodot vaihtelevat Eurooppalaisen viitekehyksen eri taitotasoilla. According to the latest available surveillance data, in Sicily, the estimated prevalence among 11-15 years old children is 14%. This study aimed to estimate a prevalence of the bullying phenomenon, observed by teachers, in a sample of secondary schools of Palermo, Sicily. The paper examines aspectual and selectional properties of Old Catalan prefixed verbs in comparison with their non prefixed counterparts. We ground our analysis on Talmy’s (1985, 2000) notion of verb framed and satellite framed languages and on Mateu (2002, 2003) and Mateu & Rigau (2002) theory of lexical structure, and we argue that telicity and other aspectual properties associated with prefixed verbs are by effects derived from the semantic value of the prefix together with the lexical structure they give rise to. Olla-verbin käytön kehittyminen oppijan puheessa

Tiivistelmä – Abstract Tutkimuksessani selvitän, millä tavalla olla-verbin käyttö kehittyy oppijan puheessa ensimmäisen suomen kielen opiskeluvuoden aikana. Lisäksi selvitän, millä tavalla käytön kehittyminen näkyy taajuudessa, tarkkuudessa ja kompleksisuudessa sekä miten olla-verbin käyttö puheessa eroaa sen käytöstä kirjoitetussa kielessä. Olen kerännyt puheaineistoni vuoden ajalta kahdelta suomea toisena kielenä opiskelevalta informantilta. Aineistonkeruukertoja on yhteensä neljä ja jokainen haastattelu on noin 30 minuutin mittainen.
