L’articolo descrive i risultati di una ricerca qualitativa, finanziata dalla Comunità Europea, finalizzata a conoscere il grado di riconoscimento della violenza di prossimità di cui sono vittima i rifugiati/richiedenti asilo da parte degli operatori che lavorano nel circuito dell’accoglienza nei CAS e negli SPRAR siciliani. La ricerca ha previsto la conduzione di 78 interviste a stakeholders. Il tema della violenza di prossimità viene quindi indagato attraverso le testimonianze degli operatori intervistati e la pluralità di cause e situazioni che la rendono possibile. This research proposes to explore the nexus between “denied memory” or “wounded memory” and gender violence normalized in a symbolic level of production of meaning. For this respect, the following points will be analyzed: a) the perception of violence in intimate relationships of second generations post-conflict ; b) the impact of the “memory of war” on “cultural perception of violence” among generations of younger, adults and elder and between women and men of same generation. AbstractThis paper presents the results of a research on the representations of femicide in the judicial field, in Italy. The use of the term femicide is analysed through the lens of the normative process, examining its social meanings and questioning its political and economic anchoring using the “juridical field” model (Bourdieu 1986). Sexism and romantic love myths in adolescents living in residential care

La investigación explora la relación entre sexismo y la distorsión en mitos del amor romántico en adolescentes que residen en Centros de Acogida de Menores en Valencia (España). El diseño de investigación fue descriptivo transversal con una muestra de 147 adolescentes. Los resultados reflejan una relación estadísticamente significativa que indica que, a mayor sexismo en los y las adolescentes, mayores son las distorsiones románticas. The American TV series You (2018-) has been the subject of a heated debate on both social media and Academia in regard to its ambiguous approach to feminism and gender violence, due to its prioritization of the perpetrator’s voice over the victim’s (Rajiva and Patrick 2019). In the present context of feminist activism, with movements such as #MeToo and Time’s Up fostering female solidarity and giving voice to survivors of sexual violence, the series appears to have an opposite, and even sexist, agenda.
