Purpose To evaluate the clinical and metabolic behavior of children with isolated growth hormone (GH)-deficiency (GHD), grouped according to the new AIFA criteria for the appropriateness of use and reimbursement of GH treatment in children. Methods The clinical and metabolic data of 310 prepubertal children (220 M, 90 F; mean age 10.8 years) grouped, according to new AIFA note 39, into group A (No 181 with a peak of GH 10 µg/L) were retrospectively analyzed. The aim of the present study was to analyze the relationship between insulin resistance and the ambulatory blood pressure components in obese children and adolescents. Eighty-seven overweight and obese white children and adolescents of both sexes, of European origin from 6 to 18 years of age (mean age: 10.9±2.7 years), were selected. Methods: We followed 1568 community-dwelling elderly participants without PAD at the baseline among a sample of 2097 initially eligible over a mean of 4.4 years as part of the Progetto Veneto Anziani (Pro.V.A.) study. Growing evidence reports that obesity might play a role in erectile dysfunction (ED), but limited knowledge is available. We conducted a meta-analysis to estimate the prevalence of ED in overweight men and men with obesity. We performed a systematic review up to 01/04/2019 to investigate the associations between obesity and ED.
