The polysialylated form of the neural cell adhesion molecule (PSA-NCAM) may mediate these structural changes through its anti-adhesive properties. We propose a new fast method to match factorization theorems applicable in different kinematical regions, such as the transverse-momentum-dependent and the collinear factorization theorems in Quantum Chromodynamics. At variance with well-known approaches relying on their simple addition and subsequent subtraction of double-counted contributions, ours simply builds on their weighting using the theory uncertainties deduced from the factorization theorems themselves. Methods: A retrospective cohort study with a naturalistic population of 957 patients for whom routine therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) of citalopram had been requested between 2006 and 2013 was conducted. 171 adult- and aged-onset diabetic patients treated with insulin primarily or secondarily were subjected to an attempted therapy with the additional administration of oral antidiabetic drugs. The new potent antidiabetic drug, glybenclamide (HB 419 = Daonil), was employed on a vast scale in order to carry out an oral monotherapy in the proper indications also combined with biguanides.
