Introduction Horizon 2020 was the most significant EU Research and Innovation programme ever implemented and included the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). Proposals submitted to the MSCA actions awere subject to the Ethics Appraisal Procedure. In this work we explored the ethics appraisal procedure in MSCA H2020. Methods Using a retrospective analysis of pooled anonymized data, we explored the ethics appraisal procedure on proposals submitted to Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) during the entire Horizon 2020 program period (N = 79,670). Productivity, R&D Spillovers and Educational Attainment*

Economists have long agreed that the local availability of a more qualified workforce generates significant spillovers. This study suggests that these externalities may arise because plants by having access to a more qualified workforce at a regional level, can benefit more from R&D spillovers than those located in areas with less qualified workforce. The Age Structure of Human Capital and Economic Growth

This paper shows that the age structure of human capital is a relevant characteristic to take into account when analysing the role of human capital in economic growth. The effect of an increase in the education of the population aged 40–49 years is found to be an order of magnitude larger than an increase in the education attained by any other age cohort. The results are unlikely to be driven by the age structure of the population, as we find that the effects on growth of the age structure of education and the age structure of population are distinct. Il saggio esamina il sistema delle regole che ineriscono la gestione della forza lavoro nell’impresa sequestrata o confiscata per metterne in luci pregi e criticità. La ricerca mette in particolare in luce i limiti della tesi che fa leva sulla prevalenza della disciplina contenuta nell’art. 56 del d.lgs. n. 159/2011 sulle regole generali. Il tema è indagato attraverso materiale giurisprudenziale in parte inedito e una valutazione critica del ruolo del sindacato.

Factors Contributing to Different Agency in Work and Study

Most young adults today are following longer educational tracks and postpone entrance into the workforce. This 2-year study aimed to determine factors contributing to occupational self-efficacy in a representative sample of n = 1,891 young adults ( M = 23.92, SD = 2.17 years) with different work statuses (studying, in an apprenticeship, employed, or unemployed). Occupational identity, perceived work quality, the ability to cope with work stress, and symptomatology were assessed.
