“To be everywhere” and “see everything” is a declaration by Father Euzebiusz Franciszek Stateczny, a well-known Silesian writer from the turn of the 20th century, and an extraordinary monk and tenacious traveller, who in a true positivist fashion valued the truth about the world based on one’s own experience. Mācību grāmatas ir vienas no visbiežāk izmantotiem materiāliem valodas apguvei. Šī darba mērķis ir analizēt eseju rakstīšanas uzdevumu veidus B2 līmenī. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika veikta satura analīze “High Note 4” un “Focus 4” mācību grāmatu komplektiem. Rezultāti parādīja, ka vairums uzdevumu ir eseju rakstīšana, kuros studentiem ir jāizstrādā rakstisks darbs vai jāieraksta trūkstošos saistvārdus esejās vai teikumos. Divu mācību grāmatu komplektu novērtējums parādīja, ka “Focus 4” un “High Note 4” studentu grāmatām, kā arī darba grāmatām ir atšķirības saturā un tā secības, uzdevumu skaita, eseju tēmu, pašpārbaudes uzdevumu ziņā. Le style étant une propriété générale des discours (voir Genette, 1991), il n’y a pas lieu d’exclure d’études stylistiques les textes non littéraires. Bien au contraire, la prise en compte de tels types de textes aux côtés d’écrits littéraires permet de recentrer l’objet de la stylistique sur les modalités de production de sens et de valeur. Les écrits ordinaires permettent de mieux cerner ce qu’est le style dans sa progressivité intrinsèque. Modelling Quoting in Newswriting : A Framework for Studies on the Production of News

The Mediated Social Communication (MSC) approach considers mass media a venue for opposing and complementary societal groups to publicly negotiate socially relevant topics. This negotiation is conducted through representatives of these groups and mediated by journalists. Inspired by the MSC approach, this paper presents an empirically grounded model that structures the mediating process through the process of quoting. By identifying the key phases of newswriting as sub-processes of quoting, the paper argues that journalists (1) decide on a topical issue to be addressed (topicalisation), (2) identify groups of people who are linked to this issue (societal localisation), (3) pick some people …

È stato effettuato uno studio di caso ispirato ai principi pedagogici della prospettiva Student Voice. Venticinque studenti universitari hanno partecipato, tra il mese di novembre 2015 e il mese di febbraio 2016, a due attività formative: tre sessioni di scrittura espressiva e quattro colloqui individuali di peer-tutoring. La ricerca «Telemaco» è stata svolta per promuovere una partecipazione attiva e responsabile degli studenti universitari alla didattica universitaria. A tal fine, si è ritenuto opportuno preparare tale partecipazione mediante l’applicazione di due metodi d’intervento con cui migliorare il loro senso di autoefficacia, la loro capacità di gestire l’ansia da prestazione e l’immagine del loro «sé» attuale: la scrittura espressiva e il tutoraggio tra pari. I risultati dimostrano l’efficacia di questi due metodi sulle tre competenze prese in esame.
