Do teachers’ professional vision and teaching experience always go hand in hand? Examining knowledge-based reasoning of Finnish Grade 1 teachers

This mixed-method study explored 54 Finnish Grade 1 teachers' professional vision and teaching experience. Teachers' retrospective think-aloud interviews, conducted while watching their eye-tracking recordings of classroom actions, were analysed according to the domains of knowledge-based reasoning. Negative associations between teaching experience and amount of knowledge-based reasoning were found. The qualitative examination of three teachers with different amounts of teaching experience provided concrete examples and broadened the findings. Nosaukums: Izpildvaras politisko amatpersonu un pārvaldes amatpersonu sadarbība Latvijā kopš 2010. gada. Pētījuma problēma: nav izvērtēta izpildvaras politisko amatpersonu un pārvaldes amatpersonu sadarbība Latvijā kopš 2010. gada un tā atbilstība teorētiskajiem modeļiem. Mērķis: izvērtēt to, kuram teorētiskajam modelim atbilst sadarbība starp abām pusēm. Teorētiskajā daļā: ir iekļauta informācija no akadēmiskās literatūras par pārvaldes amatpersonu un politisko amatpersonu funkcijām un sadarbības modeļiem. Izmantotās metodes: dokumentu analīze, padziļinātas intervijas. Rezultāti: Sadarbība starp pārvaldes amatpersonām un politiskajām amatpersonām Latvijā atbilst sadalīto pienākumu modelim.

Artykuł analizuje naukę o małżeństwie w dwóch współczesnych, niemieckich katechizmach: Evangelischer Erwachsener Katechismus (Ewangelicki katechizm dla dorosłych) i w przetłumaczonym na język polski Katolickim katechizmie dorosłych. Po ogólnym wprowadzeniu treść pierwszego z nich zebrana jest wokół tematów: małżeństwo cywilne a ślub kościelny, istota małżeństwa, formy małżeństwa, rozwód małżeński, małżeństwa mieszane. Tematami drugiego są: małżeństwo jako sakrament, istotne przymioty małżeństwa, małżeństwa mieszane. Artykuł kończy krótkie podsumowanie.

High Bias Voltage CZT Detectors for High-flux Measurements

In this work, we present the performance of new travelling heater method (THM) grown CZT detectors, recently developed at IMEM-CNR Parma, Italy. Thick planar detectors (3 mm thick) with gold electroless contacts on CZT crystals grown by Redlen Technologies (Victoria BC, Canada) were realized, with a planar cathode covering the detector surface (4.1 x 4.1 mm(2)) and a central anode (2 x 2 mm(2)) surrounded by a guard ring electrode. The detectors, characterized by low leakage currents at room temperature (4.7 nA/cm(2) at 1000 V/cm), allow good room temperature operation even at high bias voltages (> 7000 V/cm). A GEM-TPC in twin configuration for the Super-FRS tracking of heavy ions at FAIR

The GEM-TPC [1] described herein will be part of the standard beam-diagnostics equipment of the Super-FRS [2] . This chamber will provide tracking information for particle identification at rates up to 1 MHz on an event-by-event basis. The key requirements of operation for these chambers are: close to 100% tracking efficiency under conditions of high counting rate, spatial resolution below 1 mm and a superb large dynamic range covering projectiles from Z=1 up to Z=92. First observation and study of the K± → π±π0e+e− decay

The NA48/2 experiment at CERN reports the first observation of the K-+/- -> pi(+/-)pi(0)e(+)e(-) decay from an exposure of 1.7 x 10(11) charged kaon decays recorded in 2003-2004. A sample of 4919 candidates with 4.9% background contamination allows the determination of the branching ratio in the full kinematic region, BR(K-+/- -> pi(+/-)pi(0)e(+)e(-)) = (4.24 +/- 0.14) x 10(-6). The study of the kinematic space shows evidence for a structure dependent contribution in agreement with predictions based on chiral perturbation theory. Several P- and CP-violating asymmetries are also evaluated.
