The diversity of people, cultures and social situations in Latin America countries does not obstruct the critical and honest dialogue concerning the research carried out on the learning of world problems. Geography, as a science, can contribute to this challenge, but it needs, then, to leave the intellectual, corporate and academic obstacles that prevent its study by the pupils. In this work we communicate the initiatives developed by a group of teachers by means of the Geoforo, which takes advantage of the facilities of the cyberspace, from the Geocrítica portal of the University of Barcelona.

Economic restructuring in the media industry has eliminated many professional journalists’ jobs, reductions that may have been hardest on specialized journalists reporting areas like science, technology, economics, or international affairs. Virtual communities (VCs) have become essential in current organizations and society, and so their sustainability is a topic of interest for researchers and practitioners. We focus on the sense of virtual community (SoVC) and commitment as relevant antecedents in achieving the success and maintenance of different types of VCs (communities of interest, virtual learning communities, and virtual communities of practice). L’actualitat política i social del nostre país ens porta necessàriament a parar atenció en l’auge del partit ultradretà Vox. Aquest partit va sorgir al desembre del 2013, com a conseqüència de les disputes internes del Partit Popularoriginades per l’erosió del partit arrelde la crisi econòmica del 2008. No obstant, no va ser fins a les eleccions andaluses del 2018 que Vox va aconseguir representació parlamentaria (llevat d’algunes eleccions d’àmbit local on va obtenir alguns regidors al 2015) tot i haver-se presentat sistemàticament.
