Minäpystyvyys on Albert Banduran kehittämä käsite, joka on osa sosio-kognitiivista teoriaa. Tämä pro gradu -tutkielma tutkielma on osa Jyväskylän yliopiston, Kelan sekä Kuntoutus Peurungan yhteistä tutkimushanketta (2015-2019). Tässä tutkimuksessa on tarkoitus selvittää, millaisia näkemyksiä sydänkuntoutujilla on minäpystyvyydestä etäkuntoutuksen alussa. Tutkimuksen aineistona oli seitsemän ryhmähaastattelua, tutkittavina oli yhteensä 65 sydänkuntoutujaa. Aineistona oli 396 min haastattelua, joista kertyi 283 A4 sivua litteroitua tekstiä. This study investigates the gendered privacy practices and concerns on Facebook, by leaning on the idea of privacy management as a form of digital labour. We analyse if young Facebook users are more concerned about the privacy against other users than against Facebook as a company or against third-party partners. We also analyse if privacy concerns and visibility rules are differentiated by gender. Using a structured online survey, we collected responses from a sample of 813 Italian university students (aged 18-34). AbstractSocially prescribed perfectionism (SPP) has been shown to be a risk factor for parental burnout (Sorkkila & Aunola, 2020). In the present study, we investigated the moderating role of self-esteem in this association. A total of 479 Finnish mothers of infants filled in questionnaires measuring their self-esteem, SPP, and symptoms of parental burnout. The results of structural equation modelling (SEM) showed that mothers’ self-esteem moderated the effect of SPP on parental burnout: Mothers with high self-esteem were at lower risk of showing burnout symptoms even when SPP co-occurred, whereas for mothers with low self-esteem, the effect of SPP on burnout symptoms was further streng…

This report introduces the present state of affairs in news automation and discusses what ethical considerations it raises in the work of media councils. Based on a European-wide research project, the three key takeaways are as follows:1) Large media players use automatically updated counters and infographics, but the automated gener-ation of news text is still mainly experimental in nature. We read the commentary on our meta-analysis with great interest and we greatly appreciate that the authors developed suggestions for further research on heart rate variability (HRV) and self-control. While we mostly support these suggestions, we believe that it is necessary to clarify some points raised with respect to our meta-analysis. The first point brought up by the authors of the commentary is the focus of our meta-analysis on HRV instead of vagal tone and the inclusion of studies using the standard deviation of RR intervals (SDNN). Participatory shift scheduling for irregular working hours can influence shift schedules and sickness absence. We investigated the effects of using participatory shift scheduling and shift schedule evaluation tools on working hour characteristics and sickness absence. We utilized a panel data for 2015−2019 with 16,557 hospital employees (6143 in the intervention and 10,345 in the control group). Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin kuudesluokkalaisten käsityksiä hyvästä elämästä. Li-säksi tutkittiin vastaajien käyttämiä selviytymiskeinoja vastoinkäymisen jäl-keen. Tutkimuksen viitekehyksenä on positiivinen psykologia ja Allardtin (1980) hyvinvointimalli. Selviytymiskeinoja tarkasteltiin Lazaruksen (1976) määritelmän valossa. Tutkimus on luonteeltaan laadullinen ja siinä on fenomenografinen tutkimus-ote, jolloin tarkastelun kohteena ovat lasten käsitykset. Tutkimukseen osallistui yksi koululuokka, jossa oli 20 oppilasta.
