Long-term stability study of clofarabine injection concentrate and diluted clofarabine infusion solutions

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the physicochemical stability of clofarabine (CAFdA) injection concentrate and ready-to-use CAFdA infusion solutions over a prolonged period of 28 days. Methods: To determine the stability of CAFdA infusion solutions, the injection concentrate (Evoltra®, 1 mg/mL, Genzyme) was diluted either with 0.9% sodium chloride or 5% glucose infusion solution. The resulting concentrations of 0.2 mg/mL or 0.6 mg/mL, respectively, were chosen to represent the lower and upper limit of the ordinary concentration range. Tämä tutkimus tarkastelee USA:n ja valittujen Kaakkois-Aasian kehittyvien maiden markkinoita; Philippiinejä, Indonesiaa, Malesiaa ja Thaimaata. Tutkimus antaa tuloksia sekä USA:n että indonesialaisen sijoittajan näkökulmasta. Merkittävä rooli tutkimuksessa on ajassa muuttuvan korrelaation havainnollistamisessa osakeindeksien välillä käyttäen apuna Englen vuonna 2002 esittelemää DCC-GARCH mallia. Tutkimuksessa käytetty data on vuodesta 1988 vuoteen 2015 saakka. Polymeric hydrogels are increasingly considered as scaffolds for tissue engineering due to their extraordinary resemblance with the extracellular matrix (ECM) of many tissues. As cell adhesion is a key factor in regulating important cell functions, hydrogel scaffolds are often functionalized or loaded with a variety of bioactive molecules that can promote adhesion. Killer toxins in new isolates of the yeasts Hanseniaspora uvarum and Pichia kluyveri

From various habitats (plant material, fruits, soil), yeasts belonging to the species of Pichia kluyveri and Hanseniaspora uvarum were isolated that showed killer activity. According to the activity spectrum against other yeasts these strains belonged to 11 different groups that were distinguishable from the killer strains K1-K10. The isoelectric points of the killer proteins were in the range of pH 3.5–3.9, the activity optimum was observed at pH 4.2–4.6. Above pH 5 and above a temperature of 25–35°C the killer proteins were inactivated.

Abstract This chapter approaches the question of biopolitics in ancient political thought looking not at specific political techniques but at notions of the final aim of the political community. It argues that the “happiness” (eudaimonia, beatitudo) that constitutes the greatest human good in the tradition from Aristotle to Thomas Aquinas is not a “biopolitical” ideal, but rather a metabiopolitical one, consisting in a contemplative activity situated above and beyond the biological and the political. Johtajien työholismin pysyvyys ja yhteys työhyvinvointiin

Tässä tutkimuksessa tutkittiin työholismin pysyvyyttä ja työholismin yhteyttä työhyvinvointiin (työuupumus, sairauspoissaolot). Tutkimus perustui johtajien seurantatutkimukseen, jossa aineistoa kerättiin yhteensä kuuden vuoden ajan vuosina 2009 (n= 898), 2011 (n = 465), 2013 (n = 406) ja 2015 (n = 237). Tutkittavista suurin osa oli miehiä (70%) ja tutkittavat olivat tutkimuksen lähtötilanteessa iältään 25–68 vuotiaita (ka = 46). Työholismi osoittautui tutkimuksessa sekä suhteellisesti (toistomittauskorrelaatiot) ettäabsoluuttisesti (keskiarvon muutos yli ajan) voimakkaasti pysyväksi ilmiöksi. This report gives an overview of the Con3Post project1 research that analyses a new and understudied phenomenon of posting third country nationals (TCNs) in the European construction sector, with a special focus on the posting flow involving workers from Ukraine being posted to Finland and Estonia through Poland. The research highlights severe regulatory challenges related to the phenomenon. These include posted TCNs being exposed to multiple vulnerabilities that are even more extreme than intra-European Union (EU) posted workers are usually exposed to.
