Abstract. Ray paths of stationary Rossby waves emanating from a local midlatitude source are usually refracted equatorward. However, this general tendency for equatorward propagation is mitigated by the presence of a midlatitude jet that acts as a zonal waveguide. This opens up the possibility of circum-global teleconnections and quasi-resonance, which suggests that the ability to guide a wave in the zonal direction is an important jet property. AbstractIt has been suggested that upper-tropospheric Rossby wave packets propagating along the midlatitude waveguide may play a role for triggering severe weather. This motivates the search for robust methods to detect and track Rossby wave packets and to diagnose their properties. In the framework of several observed cases, this paper compares different methods that have been proposed for these tasks, with an emphasis on horizontal propagation and on a particular formulation of a wave activity flux previously suggested by Takaya and Nakamura. Zonadhesin is a mammalian transmembrane sperm ligand. Precursor zonadhesin essentially consists of MAM (meprin/A5 antigen/mu receptor tyrosine phosphatase) domains, a mucin-like repeat, and D domains (homologous to von Willebrand D). Recent immunovisualization and binding assays indicate that zonadhesin D domains 1–3 bind postacrosomally to the zona pellucida. This feature has attracted considerable interest in the evolution of zonadhesin and its possible biological and biomedical implications. Ievads. Prostatas audzējs (PCa) pēc izplatības vīriešiem ierindojas 2. vietā Latvijā. Jaunveidojumu diagnostikā pastāv zelta standarts – transrektālas ultraskaņas vadīta (TRUS) biopsija, tomēr PCa bieži vien ir multifokāls, bet biopsijas laikā tiek paņemta maza prostatas audu daļa. Ir pieejama cita biopsijas metode- ar attēlu sapludināšanas metodi (fusion-biopsija), kad TRUS-biopsija tiek veikta vienlaicīgi ar magnētiskās rezonanses izmeklējuma (MR) palīdzību. Šajā pētījumā tika noskaidrota, prostatas attēlveidošanas ziņošanas un datu vērtēšanas sistēmas (PI-RADS) pēc daudzparametru MR (mpMR) rādītāju korelācija ar histopatoloģiskajām atbildēm pēc fusion-biopsijas. Bakalaura darbā ‘’Daudzslāņu datortomogrāfijas attēlu kvalitātes izvērtējums deguna blakusdobumu izmeklējumu gadījumos’’ tika izvirzīts mērķis noskaidrot daudzslāņu datortomogrāfijas attēlu kvalitāti ietekmējošos faktorus deguna blakusdobumu izmeklējumu gadījumos. Lai sasniegtu rezultātus, darba teorētiskajā daļā tika analizēta un apkopota literatūra par datortomogrāfijas metodi radioloģijā, par deguna blakusdobumu anatomiju, fizioloģiju un rentgenanatomiju. Šī kvalifikācijas darba mērķis ir izstrādāt sistēmu, kas veic domēnu tehniskās konfigurācijas atbilstības pārbaudīšanu. Šis sistēmas galvenais uzdevums ir noskaidrot, vai domēns pēc reģistrācijas ir nokonfigurēts pareizi gan DNS serveru zonā, gan arī saknes domēna zonā. Lietotājs ievada domēna vārdu pārbaudei, un viņam tiek izvadīta lapa ar visu testu rezultātiem. Sistēma tiks izstrādāta valodās Go, HTML, CSS, tā sastādīs no divām daļām: klienta vietne, kur lietotājs ievada domēna vārdu un viņam izvada rezultātu vai vajadzīgo paziņojumu, un servera rīks, kas veic doto pārbaudi.
