Yrityshistorian seminaari, "Yrityksen tarina kirjaksi", järjestettiin 21.-22. lokakuuta Mikkelissä. Hybridinä järjestetyn seminaarin järjestäjinä olivat Tilaushistoriakeskus, Elinkeinoelämän Keskusarkisto ELKA, Suomen taloushistoriallinen yhdistys ja Helsingin yliopiston Historian yksikkö. Seminaariin osallistui paikalla 40 henkilöä ja etänä 120. Seminaarin teemaa käsiteltiin niin yrityshistorian tilaajien, kirjoittajien kuin kustantajien näkökulmasta. This research focuses on small and medium sized enterprises in Finland’s Central Ostrobothnia region as constructors of identity and welfare for their operating environment. To investigate the phenomenon I apply a discourse analytic and constructionist approach. The study material is derived from the SMEs’ www pages, which were subjected to a rhetorical analysis. I base my conclusions on the organizational discourses emerging from the homepages and the identities constructed therein.
