Diagnostic utility of new short versions of AUDIT to detect binge drinking in undergraduate students

ABSTRACT This study examines the usefulness of two AUDIT adaptations with a sample of 907 undergraduate alcohol users. On the one hand, it includes the AR2i that encompasses revised A2r and A3r consumption items, and on the other hand—in addition to the two former items—the inclusion of items 4, 8, and 9, which evaluate consequences. The results indicate that both adaptations identify BD more precisely than the traditional scales (AUDIT and AUDIT-C), but the usefulness of each will depend on the clinical purpose they are given. Lielākā problēma, kas saistīta ar plēsonīgajām cenām, ir plēsonīgo cenu piemērošanas nošķiršana no ikdienišķas biznesa prakses. Such a notion is used in the frame of the European Convenition on Human Rights, with a deep analysis of the Strasbourg organs case law on art. 17 ECHR. The focus of the paper is the changing role of the abuse of right in such a case law.

Il saggio affronta le principali applicazioni della buona fede nell'interpretazione e nell'esecuzione del contratto. L'autore critica alcune soluzioni della giurisprudenza della Corte di cassazione, specie con riguardo a condotte riconducibili alla figura dell'abuso di personalità giuridica. The essay deals with the main applications of good faith in the interpretation and execution of the contract. The author criticizes some solutions of the jurisprudence of the Court of Cassation, especially with regard to conduct attributable to the figure of abuse of the legal person.

Resumo Este estudo avaliou a capacidade discriminante de indicadores psicológicos e comportamentais frequentemente associados ao abuso sexual infantil. A amostra foi constituída por 79 crianças, de ambos os sexos, sendo 63,3% do sexo feminino (n = 50), com idades entre oito e 12 anos (M = 9,92; DP = 1,45). Os participantes foram distribuídos em três grupos: Abuso sexual (n = 34), Maus-tratos sem histórico de abuso sexual (n = 14) e Sintomas clínicos sem histórico de maus-tratos (n = 31). The present study aims to reveal the structure of positions in the field of addiction through the analysis of doctoral theses read in Spain. The source consulted for the selection of the theses was TESEO. Searching for the keywords drug abuse, alcoholism, drug effects and drug addiction treatment during the period 1976-2017 produced 728 theses. The most productive period is 2013-2017, with 208 (28.6%) doctoral theses. The overall rate of publication is increasing, but in the period 2003-2007 output decreased significantly to 5.2% of the total.
