The essay examines the complex issue of the division of powers between the State and the Regions according to Title V of the Constitution concerning health and safety at workplace. This division between the center and the periphery has been subject to a limited review by doctrine and jurisprudence expecially focusing on the regulation of labour market. The Author describes a multilevel system characterized by the presence of national and regional sources collective bargaining and codes of conduct. On the basis of a reconstruction of the regulatory framework and the judicial statements the paper proposes a dynamic reading of the relationship between center and periphery in which the axis of the system remains however anchored to the national jurisdiction along with important regulatory issues left to the regional legislation.Settore IUS/07 - Diritto Del Lavoro

The integration of Dye-sensitized Solar Cell (DSC) with the glassblock is disclosed. The combination of the two technological elements the glassblock and the DSC module enhance their own peculiarities. The final complete product is ready-made for installation owns the qualities of the glassblock and produces sustainable energy at the same time. The transparency and the thermo-acoustic insulation may be modulated according to the specific requirements of each case of installation. The product may be used for example to create PV panels for glazed and translucent façades that are able to perform efficiently in all light conditions (even in diffuse light also converting internal artificial light) that are not dependant on the angle of the solar radiation and do not suffer from the high operative temperatures of functioning due to the peculiarities of the DSCs. DSCs are made of economic and biocompatible materials and are produced with low-cost and highly productive printing methods on rigid or flexible substrates. With the integration of DSC modules with the glassblock PV panels coincide with the envelope itself so that they do not need any further structures to be installed on and allow the possibility of subtract from the price of the panel the price of the substituted building element allowing further economies. DSCs can be printed in different colours and with various patterns offering to designers and customers the possibility of intervening on the glassblock aesthetical aspect also taking advantage of the peculiar modularity of the glassblock for larger compositions of drawings on the building’s façade. Seven Hypotheses of integration are discussed in order to obtain DSC-integrated glassblock ready for the construction of a precast and dry-assembled PV panel which can use the horizontal and vertical cavities between the glassblocks to house plastic profiles where the electric interconnections and the steel bars -useful for improve the mechanical resistance of the panel- are integrated.Settore ICAR/10 - Architettura Tecnica

The laparoscopic approach to Acute Mesenteric Ischemia is today unclear and less debated (AMI). There are in fact no clinical evidences on this particular focus and only few articles can be found in several databases (pubmed, cochrane library, etc.), and the problem concerns both diagnostic and therapeutic utilization of the procedure. These considerations were already taken into account in 2012 EAES guidelines where the Grade of Recommendation (GoR) of laparoscopy in AMI was low in both diagnostic and therapeutic aspects. According to the new Oxford Classification [1], the use of laparoscopy in patients with suspicious or diagnosed AMI presents a weak GoR.

The study aims to reflect on the training of future primary school teachers by starting from the use of the e-portfolio as an innovative tool to promote the acquisition of reflective and self-evaluation competence within the flipped classroom. The research involved 154 students of Primary Education Master’s Degree Course of the University of Palermo attending to the Docimology course during the academic year 2020/2021. This paper presents the theoretical assumptions objectives and operating methods of a path that made the use of the e-portfolio in flipped classroom to promote the development of docimological skills in higher education. Epistemic and didactic values of the demonstrative process in different cultures: a case study in Geometry with Chinese and Italian students

This paper presents same key findings of the research project conducted by G.R.I.M. of Palermo on the approaches to justification and proof in Geometry by investigating how Chinese and Italian teachers and students taught particular geometrical topics refereed to different epistemic and didactic values related to own culture. It was found that Chinese teachers and students emphasized justification of the proof by a stressed visual verification based on some metarules linked with the structure of their own written language and defined as historical Chinese modus operandi in the Jiuzhang Suanshu. The Italians paid close attention to mathematical proof by a hypoxemic deductive system defined on the Euclide’ Elements. The geometrical problem discussed on the paper was defined and presented as “one problem multiple solution problems” and “one problem multiple changes”. Important aspect of the case study discussed in the paper focus on the mediation of knowledge between Chinese and Italian students involved in multicultural class. Urban shrinkage became a central issue in both the scientific debate and the political agenda of several European cities. According to EUROSTAT data (2019) about 40% of European cities with more than 200000 inhabitants are losing population. A shrinkage that is more explicit in a progressive underutilization of the built heritage as well as in the concomitant increase of abandoned areas. In this controversial framework of structural mutation of the city urban policies in Europe try to decline the degrowth as a strategic opportunity to invest in green areas in order to increase urban quality and to act simultaneously on the development of local economies. With respect to the above framework this contribution focuses on the evaluation of the effects that the project of new public green spaces have generated on some sample areas on the outskirts of the city of Palermo. L’accertamento del trasferimento d’azienda in caso di cambio di appalto nel rito “Fornero”

Con la sentenza n. 2315/2020 la Suprema Corte ha affermato il principio che l’accertamento dell’anzianità di servizio conseguente ad un trasferimento d’azienda può essere affrontato nell’ambito del rito speciale di impugnazione del licenziamento introdotto dalla L. n. 92/2012. With judgement n. 2315/2020 the Supreme Court affirmed the principle that the ascertaining of seniority of service of the employee because of a transfer of undertaking can be examined by the judge according to the special rules of law n. 92/2012. The Court does not exclude a transfer of undertaking also in the case it concerns the staff only for a contractual or legal obligation. Con la sentenza 8 maggio 2014, causa C-15/13, la Corte di giustizia si è trovata per la prima volta a valutare la figura del c.d. “in house orizzontale”. Con tale termine, come specificato anche nelle Conclusioni dell’Avvocato Generale Mengozzi del 23 gennaio 2014 (cfr. punto 25), si intende la conclusione di un contratto tra un’amministrazione aggiudicatrice e un soggetto aggiudicatario che non siano legati da alcuna relazione di controllo diretto, ma che siano sottoposti al controllo analogo di una medesima istituzione, a sua volta aggiudicatrice ai sensi della direttiva 2004/18, e realizzino la parte più importante della loro attività a favore della loro istituzione comune.
