Expert‑panel accreditation evaluation‑practices: an autoethnographic case study of the Community of Madrid

Accreditation is defined by the European Higher Education Area quality‑assurance agencies as a key element in quality management and continuous improvement in university teaching‑learning processes, and is an institutional practice that started to be developed in 2014 in Spain. This article illustrates the case of the Community of Madrid Quality Agency, as case study analysis through my experience as a panel member for the accreditation of higher‑education qualifications. The authors carried out research aimed at evaluating the quality of some aspects of a sample of medical records compiled in the operational uniti of a hospital. A subjective evaluation criterion was used, quantified by attibuting a correct numeric value by means of a weightingdeliberation factor. None of the medical record examined were judget qualitatively excellent. The main fact missing was the documentation regarding consensus, even in those medical records judget good or sufficient.

The sixth round of the International Measurement Evaluation Programme (IMEP) is presented. The programme offers reference values, established by primary methods of measurement, against which participating laboratories can evaluate their performance. The degree of comparability is thus established against the most objective references available at present. Context of validation of non-formal and informal learning in Spain: a comprehensive view

The system of validation and accreditation of professional qualifications in Spain is offered as a certification opportunity, especially for vulnerable groups. The procedure is presented as an evaluative proposal that allows some inequalities associated with training and employment to be addressed.
