Tutkielmani aineistona on Pauliina Rauhalan teos Synninkantajat, joka käsittelee fiktiivisen romaanin keinoin vanhoillislestadiolaisessa herätysliikkeessä ilmenneitä epäkohtia ja vallankäyttöä. Kohdistan tutkimukseni romaanin runsaisiin intertekstuaalisiin aineksiin, jotka määrittävät henkilöhahmoja. Samalla intertekstuaaliset ainekset vaikuttavat affektiivisesti lukijaan ja rakentavat vanhoillislestadiolaisuudesta muodostuvaa käsitystä. While these effects are primarily achieved through the artworks on display, museums commonly deploy numerous other affect-inducing resources as well, including architectural solutions, audio guides, lighting fixtures, and informational texts. AbstractThis chapter explores how the entangled relationship between the material and social in teachers’ perceptions of change can be empirically investigated. More specifically, the chapter adopts a DeleuzoGuattarian rhizoanalytic assemblage approach and the notion of becoming to capture the dynamic and fluid nature of social and material affects. The study re-analyses three teacher interviews from data sets originally collected for different research purposes but with the theme of change relevant in each interview. Development of School and Sport Burnout in Adolescent Student-Athletes : A Longitudinal Mixed-Methods Study

We investigated the development of school and sport burnout in adolescent student‐athletes (N Time 1 = 391, N Time 2 = 373) during their first year in upper secondary school using an embedded mixed‐methods design. The questionnaire‐based data were analyzed with growth mixture modeling and four burnout profiles were identified among student‐athletes. From the found burnout profiles, two were typical for the interviewed subsample of elite athletes (n = 17), that is, burnout risk and non risk profiles. Intensified job demands (IJDs) originate in the general accelerated pace of society and ever-changing working conditions, which subject workers to increasing workloads and deadlines, constant planning and decision-making about one’s job and career, and the continual learning of new professional knowledge and skills. This study investigated how individual characteristics, namely negative and positive affectivity related to competence demands, and multitasking preference moderate the association between IJDs and cognitive stress symptoms among media workers (n = 833; 69% female, mean age 48 years). Maalaamisen ilmeisin tarkoitus on luoda taideteos, maalaus. Tähän aineelliseen päämäärään kietoutuu myös toisenlainen pyrkimys: taiteilija tavoittelee erityistä affektiivista kokemusta, esteettistä resonanssia, suhteessa maalaukseensa. Resonanssin saavuttaminen edellyttää puolestaan aktiivista vuoropuhelua teoksen kanssa. Analysoin tässä artikkelissa maalaamisprosessin dialogisuutta ja sen mahdollistamaa resonanssia psykoanalyyttisen luovuusteoretisoinnin ja filosofisen affektitutkimuksen ristivalossa.
