Graffiti and street art research (GSAR) has become more acknowledged within the academic discourse; however, it has much to gain from theorising its methodological aspects. As a multidisciplinary field, GSAR has mostly used qualitative research methods, exploring urban space through methods that range from visual recordings to ethnography, emphasising the researchers’ reflexivity. This qualitative approach has, however, paid little attention to the role of embodied practices. Associations between physical activity, motor skills, executive functions and early numeracy in preschoolers

We investigated direct and indirect cross-sectional associations of physical activity, fundamental motor skills, executive functions, and early numeracy in preschoolers. The participants were 214 preschoolers aged three to five years. Time spent in moderate and vigorous physical activity was measured by hip-worn accelerometers and fundamental motor skills using the tasks assessing locomotor, object control, and stability skills. Interactional means of teaming up: enacting the features of contemporary working life in a theater performance

Abstract The article examines how the aspects of the social world are enacted in a theater play. The data come from a videotaped performance of a professional theater, portraying a story about a workplace organization going through a personnel training program. The aim of the study is to show how the core theme of the play – the teaming up of the personnel – is constructed in the live performance through a range of interactional means. This paper seeks to better understand the skills and competencies that Public Relations (PR) professionals use in contributing to organisational decision-making processes. The data were collected by interviewing Finnish professionals using thematic semi-structured interviews. Overall, the results highlight a deep understanding of organisation management and decision-making processes. The most important competencies were business understanding and target group oriented thinking. Different modeling languages are used at different lifecycle stages, for example STEP's EXPRESS may be used at a detailed design stage, while UML may be used for initial design stages. Mūsdienu pasauli raksturo tehnoloģiju straujā attīstība, kā arī angļu valodas kā lingua franca statusa nostiprināšanās. Diplomdarba mērķis ir atrast rīku, kas nodrošinātu jauniešiem nepieciešamās svešvalodas prasmes. Pētījumā tika ievākti dati no 203 anketām un piecām intervijām ar mērķi noskaidrot vidusskolas skolēnu valodas apguves ieradumus. Pētījums atklāja, ka vidusskolas skolēni savā ikdienā plaši pielieto tehnoloģijas un ir atvērti tehnoloģijās balstītai svešvalodas apguvei. El propósito del siguiente estudio fue evaluar los factores de riesgo para contraer el VIH/SIDA en adolescentes de ambos géneros y diferentes estratos sociales escolarizados de la ciudad de Medellín, Colombia. Se evaluó una muestra de 300 adolescentes mediante muestreo no aleatorio disponible de 10 y 11 grados de educación básica secundaria de diferentes colegios públicos y privados de la ciudad de Medellín, a quienes se les aplicó el cuestionario CPS desarrollado por Ballester, Gil, Guirado y Bravo (2004), encontrándose alta confiabilidad en el estudio.
