Teacher–student relationship and students’ social competence in relation to the quality of educational dialogue

Teacher–student relationship and students’ social competence were investigated in relation to the quality of educational dialogue. The data consisted of 151 video-recorded Grade 2 lessons. The teachers (N = 50) also rated their students’ (N = 664) social competence and the teacher–student relationship. In terms of teacher–student relationships, closeness associated positively while conflict associated negatively with high quality dialogue. Regarding students’ social competence, cooperation skills and empathy linked positively while disruptiveness linked negatively with high quality dialogue. AbstractChildren with neurodevelopmental disorders often have social-emotional and behavioural difficulties. The present study explored these difficulties in children (n = 50, aged 6–10 years) with autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and developmental language disorder. Parents, teachers and therapists evaluated children’s social-emotional and behavioural difficulties through a self-devised questionnaire and the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas attiecības starp vientulības izjūtu, jūtīgumu pret atraidījumu un sociālo izvairīšanos, un gūt plašāku ieskatu par to, kā šie mainīgie mijiedarbojas. Lai to noskaidrotu, tika izvirzīta hipotēze, ka pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas pozitīvas attiecības starp vientulības izjūtu, jūtīgumu pret atraidījumu un sociālo izvairīšanos. Tika uzdoti divi pētījuma jautājumi: vai sociālā izvairīšanās ir mediators attiecībās starp jūtīgumu pret atraidījumu un vientulības izjūtu un vai jūtīgums pret atraidījumu ir mediators attiecībās starp vientulības izjūtu un sociālo izvairīšanos? Tässä tutkielmassa tutkitaan yhdenlaista aiolista sointukulkua populaarimusiikissa. Sointukulus-sa ensimmäinen sointu i ja viimeinen sointu bVII aste. Tarkoituksena on löytää sointukulun alku-perä ja lähtökohta sekä sointukulun tyypillisin muoto. Sointukulkuja tarkastellaan erilaisten musiikinteorioiden kautta. Päänäkökulman on psykologias-ta skeemateoria sekä pohdintaan genren merkitystä sointukulkuun. Perinteisen musiikkiteorioi-den avulla luodaan lähtökohdat tarkastelulle.
