AbstractRegime shifts are increasingly prevalent in the ecological literature. However, definitions vary, and many detection methods are subjective. Here, we employ an operationally objective means of identifying regime shifts, using a Bayesian online change-point detection algorithm able to simultaneously identify shifts in the mean and(or) variance of time series data. Nuorten syrjäytymisestä on viime vuosina oltu huolissaan. Pahimmillaan siirtymä alakoulusta yläkouluun toimii syrjäytymiseen johtavana kuiluna koulutuspolulla. Herkkään siirtymäaikaan liittyvät riskitekijät olisi tärkeää tunnistaa ennaltaehkäisyn tueksi. Tämän pro gradu –tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tarkastella oppilaiden siirtymäkokemusten kehitystä alakoulusta yläkouluun. Tavoitteena oli selvittää, onko erityisoppilaana oleminen yhteydessä siirtymäkokemuksien laatuun. The period predating and overlapping with World War II saw psychoanalytic authors respond to the authoritarian and fascist developments in Europe through scholarly and analytical writings. These authors, sometimes referenced as ‘political Freudians’, were interested in bringing psychoanalysis in a dialogue with progressive social and pedagogical movements of their times, focusing their critique on the persecutory, eliminatory and purificatory fantasies, which they saw as animating the fascistic movements in Europe. The main purpose of the research was to describe the daily screen media habits and non-screen media habits like indoor and outdoor play, and sleep of preschool children aged 2 to 6 years from Singapore, South Korea, Japan, and Finland using a content-validated online questionnaire (SMALLQ®) and unsupervised cluster analysis. Unsupervised cluster analysis on 5809 parent-reported weekday and weekend screen and non-screen media habits of preschool children from the four countries resulted in seven emergent clusters.
