Esta tesis aborda la relación entre los espacios culturales y las políticas culturales, específicamente en el ámbito urbano. El programa Estalmat CV selecciona cada año a 25 estudiantes de la entre 11 y 13 años para participar en un proyecto de estímulo del talento matemático. En este trabajo se analizan las pruebas de selección y los resultados de 2018 y 2019. Los objetivos son, por un lado, analizar las características de los problemas de las pruebas de selección y reflexionar sobre su adecuación para detectar alumnos con altas capacidades y, por otro, analizar los datos de participación y los resultados en busca de regularidades en los perfiles de estudiantes. Optimal Flight Path Determination in Turbulent Air: A Modified EKF Approach

By using the Extended Kalman Filter an accurate path following in turbulent air is performed. The procedure employs simultaneously two dierent EKFs: the rst one estimates disturbances, the second one aords to determine the necessary controls displacements for rejecting those ones. To tune the EKFs an optimization algorithm has been designed to automatically determine Process Noise Covariance and Measurement Noise Covariance matrices. The rst lter, by using instrumental measurements gathered in turbulent air, estimates wind components. The second one obtains command laws able to follow the desired ight path. Topical anti-inflammatory activity of some Asian medicinal plants used in dermatological disorders.

The topical anti-inflammatory activity of extracts from Cassia angustifolia, Rheum palmatum, Coptis chinensis, Phellodendron amurense and Scutellaria baicalensis, plants used in traditional East Asian medicine against different skin disorders, was studied. Though in different degree, all the extracts significantly inhibited the edema induced by 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA), in both single or multiple application, oxazolone, and arachidonic acid (AA). None of the extracts inhibited in vitro the activity of phospholipase A(2) (PLA(2)) from Naja naja.

Benzyltetrahydroisoquinoline (BTHIQ) molecules are able to adopt widely differing conformations that depend on the presence or absence of N-substituents. To assess the possible role of BTHIQ conformation on the affinity of these compounds for α 1 -adrenergic receptors, of interest for the management of hypertension, the racemic N-unsubstituted BTHIQ norlaudanosine and a series of N-alkylated derivatives were assessed for binding to rat brain cortical sites labelled with the radioligand [3H]prazosin. Abstract Background: compensatory hyperhidrosis is the leading cause of patients' dissatisfaction after thoracic sympathicotomy.Objective: to reduce compensatory hyperhidrosis to increase patients' satisfaction. Patients and methods: a prospective randomized study on palmar hyperhidrosis, May 2016-September, 2019. Twenty-one patients T3-T4 sympathicotomy and 21 T3-T4 gray ramicotomy. Data prospectively collected. Analysis at study's end.
