Test of the Latent Dimension of a Spatial Blind Source Separation Model

We assume a spatial blind source separation model in which the observed multivariate spatial data is a linear mixture of latent spatially uncorrelated random fields containing a number of pure white noise components. We propose a test on the number of white noise components and obtain the asymptotic distribution of its statistic for a general domain. We also demonstrate how computations can be facilitated in the case of gridded observation locations. Based on this test, we obtain a consistent estimator of the true dimension. Pro graduni käsittelee kaikkiaan sitä, mitä seksuaalisuus on ja kuinka seksuaalisuudella on ratkaiseva merkitys mielen rakentumissa. Selvitän käsitteellisen tutkimuksen avulla kuinka seksuaalisuutta tulisi teoreettisesti ymmärtää ja jäsentää. Analysoin ja vertailen kolmen psykoanalyyttisen teoreetikon, Sigmund Freudin, Jean Laplanchen ja Ruth Steinin teorioita seksuaalisuudesta. This article provides a meta-analysis of research conducted on distributed leadership from 2002 to 2013. It continues the review of distributed leadership commissioned by the English National College for School Leadership (NCSL) ( Distributed Leadership: A Desk Study, Bennett et al., 2003), which identified two gaps in the research during the 1996–2002 period. The review found that the studies had been unable to conceptualise distributed leadership or empirically outline its application. The two research gaps identified by Bennett et al. As plant functional traits reflect ecosystem properties, investigating their relationships with environment provides an important tool to understand and predict ecosystem structure and functioning. Yli 50-vuotiaat, varttuneet kuluttajat, ovat ostovoimainen ryhmä, jolla on mahdollisuus panostaa myös vapaa-aikaan. Kyseisen ikäryhmän sisäisiä eroja kulutuskäyttäytymisessä on kuitenkin tutkittu toistaiseksi vähän. Tässä tutkimuksessa selvitimme klusterianalyysin avulla, millaisia kuluttajaryhmiä varttuneiden kuluttajien joukosta löytyy vapaa-ajan kulutuksen suhteen. Lisäksi tarkastelimme, onko löytyneiden klustereiden välillä eroja hyvinvoinnissa. Tutkimuksessa käytettiin Suomi 2014 – Kulutus ja elämäntapa -tutkimuksen aineistoa 50–74-vuotiaiden (N=760) osalta. Protruding impact peak is one of the features of vertical ground reaction force (GRF) that is related to injury risk while running. The present research is dedicated to predicting GRF impact peak appearance by setting a binary classification problem. This study explores the writings of Sylvia Plath Forum, a discussion forum in the Internet that was launched in 1998. Using Norman Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis, Chaïm Perelman’s theory of argumentation, Kenneth Burke’s idea of identification as the basis of rhetoric, and René Girards’s theory of mimetic desire as its framework this study looks into the forum’s meaning-making processes and the ways the author Sylvia Plath (1932-1963) and her readers are represented on the forum. Terveydenhuoltoon suunnattu informaatioteknologia on lisääntynyt viimeisten vuosien aikana merkittävästi ja sen odotetaan lisääntyvän edelleen. Teknologian käyttöä kuvaavan TAM-mallin mukaan koetulla hyödyllisyydellä on suora yhteys teknologian käyttöön. Koetun hyödyllisyyden on todettu myös olevan terveydenhuollossa muita toimialoja merkityksellisempi tekijä teknologian käytön selittäjänä. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää tekijöitä, jotka selittävät hoitohenkilöstön kokemaan teknologian hyödyllisyyttä.
