The study of human tolerance thresholds to impacts requires experiments on living or post mortem human subjects, which naturally raises ethical questions. To overcome these limitations, the development of numerical tools has led over the last few years to the implementation of numerical models more or less capable to accurately reproduce the mechanical behavior of the human body when subjected to various types of stresses. A rational expectations model for simulation and policy evaluation of the Spanish economy

This paper presents the model used for simulation purposes within the Spanish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance. REMS (a Rational Expectations Model for the Spanish economy) is a small open economy dynamic general equilibrium model in the vein of the New-Neoclassical-Keynesian synthesis models, with a strongly micro-founded system of equations. In the long run REMS behaves in accordance with the neoclassical growth model. In the short run, it incorporates nominal, real and financial frictions. Publiskajām bibliotēkām ir vairāki darba virzieni, viens no tiem ir novadpētniecība. Viens no novadpētniecības virzieniem ir dzimtu pētniecība. Pētījuma galvenais mērķis bija noteikt bibliotēku dzimtu pētniecības darba modeli, lai tādejādi veicinātu šo novadpētniecības darba virziena attīstību Latvijas publiskajās bibliotēkās. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kāds ir bibliotēku dzimtu pētniecības darbs un kā to varētu uzlabot. Tiek apskatīts arī cik liela nozīme dzimtu pētniecības darbā ir digitālajai videi. Pēc iegūtajiem pētījuma rezultātiem var secināt, ka bibliotēku dzimtu pētniecības darbs joprojām tiek pilnveidots, mācoties no pašu iegūtās, kā arī ārzemju bibliotēku pieredzes.

With current standard of care adjuvant therapy, approximately 25-30% of women with high risk early stage HR+/HER2- breast cancer experience relapse. The preoperative platform offers an opportunity to interrogate mechanisms of drug resistance that, in turn, could inform the choice of adjuvant therapy. This article analyses the educational approaches towards the animal-human relationship which have been developed during the last 20 years. The article establishes a chain of states in that relationship and presents the reasons why those states are consecutive or, occasionally, simultaneous. Next, the different European profiles of social educators are reviewed to see which of these are more open towards educational action with animals, something which could be considered a new field for educators if they have adequate professional training.
