Effects of Candelilla and Carnauba Wax Incorporation on the Functional Properties of Edible Sodium Caseinate Films

International audience; The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of candelilla (CAN) or carnauba wax (CAR) incorporation on functional properties of edible sodium caseinate (CAS) films. Glycerol and Tween-80 were used as the plasticizer and the emulsifier, respectively. The results showed that the incorporation of waxes increased film opacity, total color differences (∆E), and mechanical resistance and reduced film lightness, water vapor permeability (WVP), and elongation at break. In the medieval cemetery of the Historic Site of San Juan del Hospital of Valencia is housed a small funeral chapel founded in the late thirteenth century by the knight Arnau de Romaní. Along its cornice there are a series of heads of animals and humans that are one of the few sculptural vestiges inserted into the Romanesque iconographic tradition that are preserved in the city. The commonly used Catalan lexicons (DCVB, DECLC, the vocabulary of Lluis Faraudo de Saint-Germain) collect words and give them meaning from ancient editions of texts. Lexicographers’ performance had its own logic: they used the documentary sources they had at their disposal when they set up to write their works. The advances in philological research (new critical editions, new sources of information) allow us to refine results and detect errors that occurred in old editions and went into dictionaries. The purpose of this article is to analyse the differnt civil process of the Civil Procedure Law that can be used for the recovery of illegally occupied properties: eviction for precarious, injunction to recover possession and action action for the protection of registered property rights. Special attention is paid to the new procedure of rapid recovery of possession that has been created by Law 5/2018 amending the classic injunction to regain possession.

AbstractTo minimize unwanted toxic effects of valproic acid (1) by the kinetic control of drug release, gastroresistant carnauba wax microspheres loaded with the antiepileptic agent were prepared. The preparation was based on a technique involving melting and dispersion of drug-containing wax in an aqueous medium. The resulting emulsion after cooling under rapid stirring produced solid, discrete, reproducible free flowing microspheres which converted the liquid drug droplets into solid material.
