Suomalaisten korruptioasenteet ennen ja jälkeen vaalirahoituskriisin : kenen Suomi on korruptoitunut?

Suomalaisten korruptionäkemyksen muutos ns. vaalirahoituskohua ennen ja sen jälkeen käy ilmi Euroopan Unionin teettämistä erikoiseurobarometreistä. Korruptiota tarkastellaan luottamuksen käsitteen avulla. Luottamus nähdään korruption vastakohtana ja korkeaa luottamusta käytetään ilmaisemaan korruption puuttumista. Empiirisessä tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan suomalaisten korruptioasenteita ja niissä tapahtuneita muutoksia. Tutkimuksessa kysytään, millä tavoin suomalaisten korruptiokäsitys on muuttunut vuosina 2007–2011. Maatilayritysbarometrin 2012 tarkoituksena on herättää keskustelua maaseudusta maatilayritysten toimintaympäristönä ja maatilayritysten tulevaisuuden odotuksista. Enhanced tissue penetration of antibodies through pressurized immunohistochemistry

ABSTRACTTo address the inefficiency of passive diffusion for antibody penetration in thick tissue samples, which limits clearing-technique applications, we developed a versatile and simple device to perform antibody incubation under increased barometric pressure. Pressurized immunohistochemistry greatly improves the uniformity, intensity, and depth of fluorescent immunostaining in thick human and mouse brain samples. Furthermore, pressurized immunohistochemistry substantially decreases the time required for classic staining of thin sections.SUBMISSION CATEGORYNew Results
The caramel flavour: impacts of the volatile and the non-volatile fraction on perception

The aim of this thesis was to investigate the impact of the volatile odorant fraction and the non-volatile fraction on the perception of caramel flavour. The first step focused on the analytical characterization of the volatile odorant fraction of caramel using Gas Chromatography coupled to Olfactometry (GC/O), GC/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) and heart-cutting MDGC/MS/O. Results highlighted the presence of more than one hundred compounds and demonstrated the complexity of the caramel volatile fraction. The datasets provide all the results of the quartz-in-zircon calculations in table format. The datasets include the unrelaxed and relaxed strains, and the relaxation tensors.
Cognate xenoliths in Mt. Etna lavas: witnesses of the high-velocity body beneath the volcano

Various xenoliths have been found in lavas of the 1763 (“La Montagnola”), 2001, and 2002–03 eruptions at Mt. Etna whose petrographic evidence and mineral chemistry exclude a mantle origin and clearly point to a cognate nature. Consequently, cognate xenoliths might represent a proxy to infer the nature of the high-velocity body (HVB) imaged beneath the volcano by seismic tomography. Petrography allows us to group the cognate xenoliths as follows: i) gabbros with amphibole and amphibole-bearing mela-gabbros, ii) olivine-bearing leuco-gabbros, iii) leuco-gabbros with amphibole, and iv) Plg-rich leuco gabbros. Tutkielman aiheena on tarkastella mitä taantuma-ajan nuorten 15-29-vuotiaiden sukupolvi ajattelee tulevaisuuden työelämästään. Tässä tutkimuksessa on kyse vuonna 2008 alkaneesta taloudellisesta taantumasta joka vaikuttaa niin Suomessa kuin globaalistikin. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan kvantitatiivisilla tutkimusmenetelmillä Nuorisobarometri 2009 -aineistoa, josta tarkastellaan nuorten mielipiteitä jatkuvan uudelleen kouluttautumisen ja työpaikan pysyvyyden suhteen.
