1,2,4-Oxadiazole rearrangements involving an NNC side-chain sequence.

The thermal rearrangement of N-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl-hydrazones into 1,2,4-triazole derivatives is reported. This represents the first example of a three-atom side-chain rearrangement involving an NNC sequence linked at the C(3) of the oxadiazole. The reactions carried out under solvent-free conditions produced good to high yields of the final products.

International audience; Phosphorus compounds bearing chirality on the P-center are usually qualified as P-chirogenic or P-stereogenic. This chemical class concerns natural products, agrochemistry, molecular materials, biology and pharmacy, although it is certainly in coordination chemistry and in asymmetric catalysis using chiral transition metal complexes that P-chirogenic phosphorus compounds are the most used. Abstract The effect of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) on the reactivity in the base-catalyzed pathway for the rearrangement in water of some ( Z )-hydrazones of 3-benzoyl-1,2,4-oxadiazoles ( 1b – f ) into the relevant triazoles ( 2b – f ) was investigated, finding different behavior as a function of the proton concentration. ESIMS and 1 H NMR data evidence the formation of host – guest complexes. The whole of the experimental and calculated (MM2) data enabled us to draw some intriguing conclusions concerning the influence of the structures of the substrates and the nature of the formed host – guest complexes on the real site of the reaction.

Artykuł przedstawia postać ks. prof. Alojzego Kleina (1934–2002), wieloletniego dyrektora Instytutu Ekumenicznego im. J.A. Möhlera w Paderborn, mającego wielkie zasługi w rozwoju ruchu ekumenicznego ze strony Kościoła katolickiego. W opracowaniu ukazano jedynie mały wycinek jego dorobku naukowego – wkład w recepcję uzgodnień katolicko reformowanych. Skoncentrowano się na dwóch fazach tegoż dialogu: fazie dialogu chrystologicznego i fazie dialogu eklezjologicznego. Końcowa część syntetycznie zbiera wyniki badań i formułuje wnioski.

Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin työaikapankkiin tyytyväisyyttä ennustavia tekijöitä. Tutkimus perustuu yhdeksässä työorganisaatiossa tehdyn kyselyn aineistoon (N = 268). Analyysit suoritettiin polkuanalyysina, jolloin selittäjien kausaalinen järjestys ja keskinäinen riippuvuus pystyttiin ottamaan huomioon. Selvä enemmistö vastaajista oli tyytyväisiä työaikapankkiin. Tyytyväisyyttä lisäsivät mahdollisuus kokonaisen vapaa-päivän viettämiseen säästetyistä tunneista, korkea asema organisaatiossa sekä työntekijöiden organisaation johdolta saama tuki. Tyytyväisyyttä heikensivät ongelmat säästettyjen vapaiden käytössä sekä työaikatilin saldorajojen huono mitoitus suhteessa työtehtävien vaativuuteen. K…

Non-standard work schedules (NSWS) have become typical, but their associations with childcare arrangements and children's well-being are unknown. This study explores how risk factors are associated with the social–emotional well-being of girls and boys using flexibly scheduled early childhood education and care. Furthermore, the study investigates whether well-functioning cooperation between parents and educators buffers the negative effects of the risk factors.
