National audience; La fouille en 2014 d’un secteur du quartier artisanal de la Genetoye a permis de mettre au jour un riche et abondant mobilier de coroplastie. Composé de 190 individus, ce corpus, actuellement en cours d’étude, permet d’ores et déjà d’en savoir plus sur la production de figurine en terre cuite à la Genetoye et plus largement sur la ville d’Autun-Augustodunum.

Cet outil devrait permettre d’approfondir plusieurs pistes de recherches traitant notamment de la diffusiondes céramiques d’Autun et de la chronologie des types céramiques qui, pour un grand nombre, reste encore trop diffi cile à préciser. The materials found in the catacomb of Villagrazia di Carini consist essentially of African Red Slip Ware, coarse ware of probable African production and oil lamps, both Tripolitan and types Atlante VIII and X.
