Il existe un mythe Leonard. Forge des sa mort, il reunit l’artiste habile a l’ingenieur a l’imagination debordante. On lui prete sans doute trop : tantot erudit, tantot homme sans lettres, tantot visionnaire, tantot plagiaire. L’ambiguite meme de sa figure, reelle ou construite, revele un malentendu recurrent entre culture savante, culture technique et savoir-faire artisanal durant l’epoque moderne. L’article examine quelques cas celebres de ces grandes incomprehensions du XVIIe siecle, considerees en tant que modeles d’une science de l’invention encore a ses balbutiements et qui ne prendra sa forme actuelle qu’a l’ere industrielle.

The Beurdeley dynasty was established in Paris from 1818 to 1895. They were active in the trade of "curiosities" (as antiques were then described) but they also founded a workshop for the manufacture of furniture and gilt bronzes. The study of their business reveals the increasing value devoted to curiosities, the consumption and the circulation of works of art, both antique and modern, the trade and the workshop practices throughout the nineteenth century. Of the three arverni oppida situated in the southern part of the Clermont-Ferrand basin, Gondole isthe least known to the general public and to the scientific communities. Unlike her sister sites, Corentand Gergovie, detailed surveys of Gondole have only recently begun, mainly because Gondole lay undiscovered until the early 1990’s. This article describes the result of ten or so fairly limited preventive archaeology operations (surveillance of works, diagnostics not followed up with excavations) carried out over the last ten years that have nonetheless finalised knowledge of several deposits from Late Antiquity in Autun located intra muros but also outside the walls. Resumen basado en el de la publicación Resumen en inglés La utilidad limitada del principio de Le Chatelier y su formulación vaga y ambigua pueden ser algunas de las fuentes de conceptos erróneos en el equilibrio químico. Para diagnosticar conceptos erróneos, se administró una prueba escrita a 170 estudiantes universitarios de primer año. Cette opération a permis de comprendre l’organisation et l’évolution d’un quartier urbain de l’agglomération d’Intaranum sur les cinq premiers siècles de notre ère.Située immédiatement à l’est d’une voie reliant Entrains à Auxerre, la parcelle fouillée semble n’être investie que vers le début du Ier s. Les premiers indices d’occupation livrent l’image d’un paysage rural, peu anthropisé, centré chronologiquement sur la période augustéenne. La zone va bénéficier très rapidement de la mise en place d’une voie est-ouest, implantée de manière non perpendiculaire à l’axe principal, et qui semble polariser l’organisation générale du quartier.
