Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot iespējamos alkolola lietošanas un atkarību problēmas mazināšanas risinājumus un institūciju darbības pilnveides iespējas, veicinot sociālā darba praksi RSAC (Rīgas sociālās aprūpes centrs) ar pilngadīgām personām. On September 23, 1922, the Legislative Sejm of the Republic of Poland passed an act on the creation of the port in Gdynia. The resolution was a confirmation of the will of the Polish nation, which, although in the Treaty of Versailles, received access to the Baltic Sea, but without a port, which was necessary for the development of the state. Bearing in mind this important and round anniversary, the authors of the article decided to recall the most important circumstances and figures related to the construction of the port and the city of Gdynia. This thesis examines the strategic interactions on differentiated markets in general equilibrium while proposing the public policies to reduce the distortions due to the imperfect behaviors. Collaborative Problem Solving in Finnish Pre-service Teacher Education: A Case Study

This chapter provides results from a case study utilising the ATC21STM assessment portal in the context of pre-service teacher education in Finland. The results from the portal are combined with a questionnaire regarding teamwork and collaboration dispositions. Twenty-four pre-service teachers completed both these measures. The students of this study were following two divergent teacher education programs that had different profiles in terms of their study contents and methods of studying. Understanding adults’ strong problem-solving skills based on PIAAC

Purpose Research has shown that the problem-solving skills of adults with a vocational education and training (VET) background in technology-rich environments (TREs) are often inadequate. However, some adults with a VET background do have sound problem-solving skills. The present study aims to provide insight into the socio-demographic, work-related and everyday life factors that are associated with a strong problem-solving performance.
