Λb and Λc baryon decays at finite values of heavy quark masses

Semileptonic decays of Lambda_b and Lambda_c baryons are studied within the Relativistic Three-Quark Model using finite heavy quark mass values. Employing the same parameters as have been used previously for the description of exclusive decays of heavy baryons in the heavy quark limit we calculate the six form factors of the process and the corresponding decay rates. Our calculation shows that the ``finite mass'' corrections are important in heavy-to-light transitions and are not negligible in heavy-to-heavy transitions.

Darbā veikta literatūras avotu analīze par Baltijas jūras barības ķēžu veidošanās pamatiem un vieglo stabilo izotopu attiecību masspektrometrijas analīzi un tās izmantošanu Baltijas jūras barības ķēžu paraugu analizēšanai, kā arī vieglo stabilo izotopu attiecību īpatnību raksturošanai jūras ekosistēmas paraugos. Praktiskajā pētījumā ievākti jūras sedimentu, sestona, un 20 dažādu sugu un klašu planktona, zoobentosa un zivju paraugi no atklātās Baltijas jūras piekrastes un Rīgas līča. Le farine e le semole rappresentano dei veri e propri habitat microbici, la cui composizione può variare in funzione dell’area geografica e delle condizioni di conservazione. Il Pecorino Siciliano DOP è considerato il più antico formaggio prodotto in Sicilia e, probabilmente, d’Europa. Le citazioni storiche sulla sua antica origine risalgono al IX secolo a.C. in uno dei passi più famosi dell’odissea di Omero, quando Ulisse incontra Polifemo. In seguito, anche Aristotele e Plinio esaltano il gusto unico di questo formaggio. We recruited 5,970 patients with hypertension with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) on current antihypertensive treatment from the European Sleep Apnea Database (ESADA) cohort. The group was subdivided into those receiving monotherapy (n = 3,594) and those receiving dual combined therapy (n = 2,376). We studied how major OSA confounders like age, gender, and body mass index as well as the degree of sleep apnea modified office systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Beta-blockers alone or in combination with a diuretic were compared with other antihypertensive drug classes.
