Retrospective Analysis of Whole-Body Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Bone Manifestations in Long-Term Treated Patients with Gaucher Disease Type 1

We retrospectively assessed bone and visceral manifestations in patients with Gaucher disease type 1 (GD1) with whole-body magnetic resonance imaging (WB-MRI) to determine the effects of different timing in initiating long-term enzyme replacement therapy.In 17 patients with GD1, we performed 2 WB-MRI examinations at a median interval of 13 months. Patients had received enzyme replacement therapy with alglucerase/imiglucerase for a median of 13 years prior to the first examination. Die Nekropole von Lailly Au-delà de l’Eau (Departement Yonne) war 1927 entdeckt worden und wurde1934, 1936 und 1937 und zum letzten Mal 2012 teilweise ausgegraben. Die Untersuchung der in den Depots der Museen von Senswiederentdeckten Grabbeigaben und die systematische Aufarbeitung der Grabungsarchive der Société archéologique de Sens habenes ermöglicht, einen Teil der geschlossenen Fundkontexte zu rekonstruieren und eine Belegungschronologie dieser kleinen Nekropolevorzuschlagen, deren großes wissenschaftliches Potenzial noch in situ erforscht werden muss. Die Studie der Grabsitten hat es zudemerlaubt, die Funde in den regionalen und überregionalen soziokulturellen Kontext zu einzuordnen

Dynamics of hydrofracturing and permeability evolution in layered reservoirs

International audience; A coupled hydro-mechanical model is presented to model fluid driven fracturing in layered porous rocks. In the model the solid elastic continuum is described by a discrete element approach coupled with a fluid continuum grid that is used to solve Darcy based pressure diffusion. The model assumes poro-elasto-plastic effects and yields real time dynamic aspects of the fracturing and effective stress evolution under the influence of excess fluid pressure gradients. We show that the formation and propagation of hydrofractures are sensitive to mechanical and tectonic conditions of the system. Qui sont ces jeunes que la sélection prive d’accès aux études supérieures ? Selon les données de l’application Parcoursup où les « recalés » ont représenté, en 2018, 6 % des candidats ayant obtenu le baccalauréat, ils constituent 3 % des bacheliers généraux, 8 % des bacheliers technologiques et 14 % des bacheliers professionnels.
