Stability and -Gain Control of Positive Switched Systems with Time-Varying Delays via Delta Operator Approach

This paper investigates the problems of stability and -gain controller design for positive switched systems with time-varying delays via delta operator approach. The purpose is to design a switching signal and a state feedback controller such that the resulting closed-loop system is exponentially stable with -gain performance. Based on the average dwell time approach, a sufficient condition for the existence of an -gain controller for the considered system is established by constructing an appropriate copositive type Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional in delta domain. A Branch-and-Cut method for the Capacitated Location-Routing Problem

International audience; Recent researches in the design of logistic networks have shown that the overall distribution cost may be excessive if routing decisions are ignored when locating depots. The Location-Routing Problem (LRP) overcomes this drawback by simultaneously tackling location and routing decisions. Input-Output Feedback Linearization Control of a Linear Induction Motor Taking Into Consideration Its Dynamic End-Effects and Iron Losses

This article proposes a new input-output feedback linearization control (FLC) technique of linear induction motors (LIMs), taking into consideration both the dynamic end-effects and the iron losses. Starting from a previously conceived dynamic model, including the dynamic end-effects and the iron losses, all the theoretical framework of the FLC has been developed. ATTRACTORS FOR A LATTICE DYNAMICAL SYSTEM GENERATED BY NON-NEWTONIAN FLUIDS MODELING SUSPENSIONS

In this paper we consider a lattice dynamical system generated by a parabolic equation modeling suspension flows. We prove the existence of a global compact connected attractor for this system and the upper semicontinuity of this attractor with respect to finite-dimensional approximations. Also, we obtain a sequence of approximating discrete dynamical systems by the implementation of the implicit Euler method, proving the existence and the upper semicontinuous convergence of their global attractors.

Attractors of stochastic lattice dynamical systems with a multiplicative noise and non-Lipschitz nonlinearities

AbstractIn this paper we study the asymptotic behavior of solutions of a first-order stochastic lattice dynamical system with a multiplicative noise.We do not assume any Lipschitz condition on the nonlinear term, just a continuity assumption together with growth and dissipative conditions, so that uniqueness of the Cauchy problem fails to be true.Using the theory of multi-valued random dynamical systems we prove the existence of a random compact global attractor.

Gluon mass generation in the presence of dynamical quarks

We study in detail the impact of dynamical quarks on the gluon mass generation mechanism, in the Landau gauge, for the case of a small number of quark families. As in earlier considerations, we assume that the main bulk of the unquenching corrections to the gluon propagator originates from the fully dressed quark-loop diagram. The nonperturbative evaluation of this diagram provides the key relation that expresses the unquenched gluon propagator as a deviation from its quenched counterpart.
