CHF2819: Pharmacological profile of a novel acetylcholinesterase inhibitor

CHF2819 is a novel orally active acetylcholinesterase inhibitor (AChEI) developed for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD). CHF2819 is a selective inhibitor of AChE, it is 115 times more potent against this enzyme than against butyrylcholinesterase (BuChE). Moreover, CHF2819 is more selective for inhibition of central (brain) AChE than peripheral (heart) AChE. In vivo CHF2819, 0.5, 1.5, and 4.5 mg/kg p.o., significantly and in dose-dependent manner increased acetylcholine (ACh) levels in hippocampus of young adult rats. Tutkielman tarkoituksena on selvittää, kuinka Yhdysvaltojen vuoden 2012 presidentinvaalien ehdokkaat Barack Obama ja Mitt Romney pyrkivät vetoamaan naisyleisöön. Tarkoituksena on pystyä nimeämään kommunikaatiostrategioita, joita presidenttiehdokkaat käyttävät puheissaan. Tutkimuksen aineisto koostuu kahdesta ensimmäisestä väittelystä, joihin kandidaatit osallistuivat vuoden 2012 lopulla. Aineisto on rajattu naisia koskeviin puheenvuoroihin. Abstract Three new mixed ligand complexes of palladium(II) dithiocarbamates; [Pd(4-dpmpzdtc)(PPh3)(SCN)] (1), [Pd(4-dpmpzdtc)(PPh3)Cl] (2) and [Pd(bzbudtc)(PPh3)Cl] (3), (where, 4-dpmpzdtc = 4-(diphenylmethyl)piperazinecarbodithioato anion, bzbudtc = N-benzyl-N-butyldithiocarbamato anion and PPh3 = triphenylphosphine) have been synthesized from their respective parent dithiocarbamates by ligand exchange reactions and characterized by IR and NMR (1H, 13C and 31P) spectroscopy. Twitter is a microblogging service that has currently 320 million user profiles and over 100 million daily active users. Many celebrities and leading politicians have a verified profile on Twitter, including Justin Bieber, president Obama, and the Pope. In this paper we investigate the '‘hundreds of Putins and Obamas phenomenon’ on Twitter. Synthesis of oxazolidinones from N-aryl-carbamate and epichlorohydrin under mild conditions

The reaction conditions for an enantiospecific synthesis of various N-aryl-oxazolidinones from N-aryl-carbamates and (R) or (S) epichlorohydrin were optimized. The N-aryl-oxazolidinones were applied to the synthesis of compounds of biological interest such as DuP 721, toloxatone and a linezolid analogue.
