Sin dai tempi più antichi, il Canale di Sicilia e la città di Trapani hanno costituito un ponte naturale fra il Maghreb e la Sicilia. Il saggio mette a sistema alcuni studi sugli architetti ed imprenditori di origine trapanese che emigrarono in Tunisia fra il XVIII e XIX secolo e ne propone una lettura inedita. Il fil rouge che lega Giuseppe Abita, la famiglia di imprenditori Canino e Domenico Basciano riguarda sia la loro provenienza dalla città siciliana, ma soprattutto l'importante contributo che essi hanno trasferito nell'architettura del periodo coloniale e post-coloniale francese nel Maghreb.

National audience; Le drainage a pour objectif d’évacuer rapidement l’excès d’eau de la partie supérieure du sol. Par conséquence il entraine des perturbations dans l’environnement notamment en favorisant la lixiviation d’intrants. Le dispositif de Virey-le-Grand, conçu dans les années 1970 pour étudier les différentes modalités de drainage, a été ré-instrumenté et automatisé afin de travailler sur l’évaluation de l’impact des pratiques agricoles sur la qualité de l’eau. I support the reintroduction of the private copy exception, possibly in a less narrow fashion, and I explain the reasons why I am confident that my expectations will be fulfilled.

Se propone un nuevo nombre, Onopordo acauli-Verbascetum montani, que sustituye a “Onopordeto-Verbascetum gudaricum” Rivas Goday & Borja 1961, nombre ilegítimo a tenor del Código Internacional de Nomenclatura Fitosociológica (CINF). Se trata de un cardizal pionero, de desarrollo estival, propio de terrenos baldíos, bordes de caminos y antiguos campos de cultivo, de las áreas calcáreas más continentales y elevadas del Sistema Ibérico y territorios colindantes. Las peculiaridades de la corte de Felipe III permitieron a algunos representantes de la alta aristocracia ligados al duque de Lerma, por parentesco o amistad, incrementar su poder y su peso político. Entre éstos, los Lemos tuvieron un papel de primer orden, especialmente en lo relativo a las cortes periféricas de la Península Italiana. En este trabajo se analizan algunos aspectos de la carrera politica de Francisco Lemos, VIII conde de Castro que entre 1601 y 1621 estuvo en los lugares clave para el equilibrio de la política internacional: Nápoles, Venecia, Roma, Sicilia.

Fifty lactobacilli isolated from black table olive brines were evaluated for their salt tolerance, resistance to oleuropein and verbascoside, and ability to grow in modified filter-sterilized brines. A strain of Lactobacillus pentosus was selected and used as a starter to ferment, in pilot plant, black olives (Itrana and Leccino cv.) in brines modified for pH, carbohydrate, and growth factor concentrations, at 28 degrees C. The temperature-controlled fermentation of Leccino cv. olives resulted in obtaining ready-to-eat, high-quality table olives in a reduced-time process. AbstractThis work presents the Dauco carotae-Crepidetum rhoeadifoliae plant association, which is new to Poland. The association has been observed in industrial reclamation areas in the vicinity of carbonate mineral excavation sites in the central part of the Opole region. In the vast majority of cases, plots of this association developed in reclaimed areas. The majority of diagnostic species for the association was found within surveyed plots, including Verbascum thapsus, V. densiflorum and Bryum argenteum. Taxa characteristic of the alliance were also constantly present, i.e. Daucus carota, Melilotus alba, M. officinalis, Echium vulgare and Erysimum hieracifolium. This association belongs…
