This paper examines the influence of the loss of reference points for the digital readout in user interaction. This has been done using 5 eBooks from different disciplines, accessed through various consultation platforms. We have examined different aspects of the information architecture of these sites to find out if users are aware of their location in the text during reading and maintaining control to scroll through it. The results indicate the need to design more robust information architectures to overcome the problems of loss of location and convert the digital reading experience into a viable alternative
Estudiantes de Música del Máster de Profesor de Educación Secundaria: creencias, expectativas y valoración de la distribución de créditos

En este estudio cuantitativo de carácter descriptivo se investigan las creencias de 31 estudiantes de la especialidad de Música del Máster de Profesor de Educación Secundaria de la Universitat de València, sus expectativas al cursar este tipo de formación, su valoración de la distribución de los créditos de las asignaturas que lo conforman y diferencias en base al género. Los resultados presentan sus consideraciones para realizar este Máster, su opinión sobre la función docente, la metodología y contenidos que desarrollarán en futuras clases, las expectativas y la valoración de los créditos de las asignaturas del Máster, entre otros.

The moderating role of personality in the relationship between temporal perspectives and facebook addiction

In the present paper, we tested the hypothesis that neuroticism moderates the relationship between past-negative or present-fatalistic temporal perspectives and Facebook addiction. A sample of 233 Facebook users (Female: 66%, mean age: 21.4 years) filled self-reports measures of temporal perspective, personality traits, and Facebook Addiction. Results at two moderation models showed that only past-negative significantly predicts Facebook addiction through neuroticism's moderation effect. Advance booking across channels: The effects on dynamic pricing

This research analyzes the effects of advance booking and channel type on hotel rates. While this relationship has been addressed in the literature, most studies take a partial approach by focusing only on one distribution channel or one destination. This study fills this gap by analyzing the price dynamics for four channels and multiple destinations. The data set consists of 39,363 bookings for 1085 hotels over 27 consecutive months. We used two-stage least squares to solve potential endogeneity issues, and the results proved that distribution channel, hotel type and hotel size have an influence on the effect of advance booking on hotel rates. Contemporary culture – as already noted – is becoming more and more visual. Contemporary catechesis, referring to its rich, centuries-long experience, should also use different types of images. The first part of this article presents the visual principle as one of basic educating principles, and the second part presents the correlation between the teaching of Catholic religion, and art education in Polish schools.
