Isolation, characterization and determination of biotechnological potential of oil-degrading bacteria from Algerian centre coast

Aims The Algerian coastline is exposed to several types of pollution, including hydrocarbons. The aim of this work was to isolate oil-degrading bacteria and to explore the intrinsic bioremediation potential of part of its contaminated harbour. Methods and results A collection of 119 strains, capable to grow on mineral medium supplemented with hydrocarbons, were obtained from polluted sediment and seawater collected from Sidi Fredj harbour (Algiers). Twenty-three strains were selected for further studies. Abreviatūras rakstos par jaunuzņēmumiem

Abreviatūru veidošana ir arvien biežāk novērojams fenomens mūsdienu valodās. Šajā darbā apskatītas vairākas vārdu darināšanas metodes, bet īpaša uzmanība pievērsta abreviatūrām un to lietojumam rakstos par jaunuzņēmumiem. Pētījumā konstatēts, ka visa veida saīsinātās formas korpusā parādās aptuveni vienreiz pa katriem 50 vārdiem. Tika atklāts, ka lielākā daļa no abreviatūrām korpusā ir saīsinājumi, bet rakstos tika atrasti arī iniciālismi, strupinājumi, teleskopējumi un akronīmi. Kā paredzēts, korpusā visbiežāk sastopamās bija abreviatūras no biznesa un uzņēmējdarbības jomas. Nākotnes pētījumi izpētes vērienu varētu paplašināt, aplūkojot abreviatūras no diahroniskas perspektīvas.

The recommendations are as simple as possible, easy to understand, and devoid of misinterpretations and double meanings. The authors propose no new definitions for limited new methods, no combination of symbols and methods, and no association between definition, symbol and commercial name.

The influence of backslopping on lactic acid bacteria diversity in tarhana fermentation

Tarhana is produced at batch systems in which the microbiota has changed accordingly to the microbial load from ingredients. In order to stabilize the microbiota, the effects of backslopping carried out under different temperature regimes (25 and 30 °C), pH (3.70 and 4.00) and inoculation rates (5, 10 and 15%) on lactic acid bacteria (LAB) diversity were determined in tarhana dough. LAB and Total Aerobic Mesophilic Bacteria (TAMB) numbers increased in all tarhana dough samples subjected to backslopping. Tutkielmani tarkoitus oli selvittää, miten ensimmäisen vuoden ruotsin pääaineopiskelijat käyttävät tervehdysfraaseja ja ilmaisevat muita henkilökohtaiselle kirjeelle tyypillisiä kulttuurisidonnaisia konventioita erilaisissa sähköpostiviesteissä. Lisäksi tarkastelin, ovatko opiskelijoiden käyttämät fraasit sopivia kyseisessä kontekstissa ja aiheuttaako sopivan ilmauksen valitseminen ongelmia.
