I Carmina Cantabrigiensia (CC) sono una silloge di componimenti latini che si leggono nel manoscritto Gg. 35 (siglum Ca), custodito presso la University Library di Cambridge. La più gran parte dei CC è probabilmente di origine germanica e appartiene a un periodo compreso fra il IX e l’XI seco-lo. Gli 84 componimenti della raccolta mostrano diversità di forma, contenuto e funzione. È possibile, infatti, individuarvi poesie in lode di sovrani o vescovi, componimenti erotici, liriche in lode della na-tura, e altri tipi di composizioni non sempre facilmente classificabili. Le pont des Grilles de la Basse-Seille (fin XIVe siècle), ancienne porte d’eau de l’enceinte urbaine de Metz

The bridge des Grilles de la Basse-Seille is one of the last vestiges of the medieval fortification in Metz. It is one of rare examples of fortified bridge in France. Built in the end of the 14th century, it is backfilled in 1911 and only its upper section is visible. An archaeological and historic study was made in 2011 to understand the configuration and the functioning of the bridge in the Middle Ages.

Essi riprendevano ancora il modello degli antichi acquedotti romani, modello rilanciato nell'isola, negli anni Settanta del XVIII secolo, da Ignazio Paternò Castello, V principe di Biscari, che costruì un grandioso ponte acquedotto nel feudo di Aragona, presso Catania. This paper presents a detailed analysis of the use of a novel Harmonic Mitigation algorithm for Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter in electrical drives for the transportation field. For this purpose, an enhanced mathematical model of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM), that takes into account simultaneously saturation, cross-coupling, spatial harmonics, and iron loss effects, has been used. New electronic forms of political communication have become increasingly popular in countries with weak democratic institutions. The effectiveness of these new forms of association in altering political behavior, however, remains uncertain even in developed democratic regimes. This paper investigates connections between regional variation in electoral behavior and regional distribution of electronic social networks in the case of Ukraine's polarized and institutionally unstable democracy. σ1 and/or σ2 receptors play a crucial role in pathological conditions such as pain, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer. A set of spirocyclic cyclohexanes with diverse O-heterocycles and amino moieties (general structure III) was prepared and pharmacologically evaluated. In structure-activity relationships studies, the σ1 receptor affinity and σ1:σ2 selectivity were correlated with the stereochemistry, the kind and substitution pattern of the O-heterocycle, and the substituents at the exocyclic amino moiety. cis-configured 2-benzopyran cis-11b bearing a methoxy group and a tertiary cyclohexylmethylamino moiety showed the highest σ1 affinity ( Ki = 1.9 nM) of this series of compounds.
