Los advergames son videojuegos orientados a la comunicación publicitaria. Su naturaleza de mensaje híbrido, al combinar contenido publicitario y contenido de entretenimiento, aporta interesantes posibilidades al desarrollo de comunicaciones de marketing en un entorno mediático en el que la publicidad tradicional ha ido perdiendo eficacia. El presente artículo delimita el concepto de advergame, analizando las diferentes tipologías existentes y sus efectos sobre diversos objetivos de marketing y de comunicación. Las cartujas valencianas, en particular las de Aracristi, Portaceli y Valldecrist, adoptaron en sus interiores vistosas ornamentaciones a base de esgrafiados en el segundo tercio del siglo XVII. Técnica que, por lo que respecta a la fundación de Serra, se adaptó a la iglesia gótica, mientras que en las del Puig y Altura lo hizo principalmente en las cúpulas de sus templos. En el presente trabajo, proponemos la reconstrucción de los esgrafiados desplegados en la media naranja de la iglesia de Valldecrist, hoy en ruinas por la desidia que ha padecido desde 1835. (A)

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic degenerative joint disorder characterized by destruction of the articular cartilage, subchondral bone alterations and synovitis. Current treatments are focused on symptomatic relief but they lack efficacy to control the progression of this disease which is a leading cause of disability. Therefore, the development of effective disease-modifying drugs is urgently needed. Temporomandibular arthropathies : a retrospective study with histopathological characteristics

Background To investigate the incidence of temporomandibular arthropathies diagnosed in a university center and to describe their histopathological characteristics. Material and Methods Temporomandibular arthropathy cases with corresponding slides were selected from an oral and maxillofacial surgical pathology service. Cases of exclusively articular disc disease were not included. Results The mean age was 31.3 years with a predominance of females (69.7%). Of these diagnoses, 53.6% were unilateral condylar hyperplasia, 17.8% were bony ankylosis, 14.3% were degenerative joint disease, 10.7% were osteochondroma, and 3.6% were synovial chondromatosis. The formation of a new joint between a pathologically elongated coronoid process and the body of the malar homolateral bone is known as Jacob's disease. Coronoid process hyperplasia was first described in 1853 by Von Langenbeck, and it was not until 1899 when Oscar Jacob described the disease that it was named after him. Jacobs's disease is an uncommon entity with only a few documented cases in the literature. The condition first manifests with progressive limitation of mouth opening and facial asymmetry.
