The database contains information on 464 publicised British petitions (including petitions to parliament, instructions to members of parliament, and addresses to the Throne) and 65 replies, submitted in 1721 - 1776. Appendix 1 contains following information per petition: Year, location, subject, petitioners, receiver, replies, verbs defining petitioners' expectations, volume of published copies and sources. Appendix 2 contains following information per reply: Year, location, replier, position of the replier, recipient, position of the recipient, number of copies and sources.

Järjestelmiä prostituution säätelemiseksi luotiin 1800-luvulla ympäri Eurooppaa. Wienissä prostituution säätely aloitettiin yli vuosikymmenen jatkuneiden debattien jälkeen vuonna 1873. Julkisen siveellisyyden suojelun ohella prostituoitujen rekisteröintiin ja säännöllisiin terveystarkastuksiin perustuneen säätelyjärjestelmän tavoitteena oli sukupuolitautien, erityisesti kupan, ennaltaehkäisy. Il contributo esamina due dipinti conservati nelle chiese di Petralia Sottana, centro delle alte Madonie. Si tratta della tela raffigurante San Carlo Borromeo della Chiesa Madre che, datata al secondo decennio del Seicento, viene riferita a Giuseppe Salerno, pittore della maniera conosciuto insieme al suo concittadino Gaspare Bazzano come Zoppo di Gangi. L’altro dipinto, invece, è l’affresco raffigurante La disputa di Gesù con i Dottori della chiesa di San Francesco d’Assisi che, riferito dubitativamente pure al Salerno, viene ricondotto ad anonimo pittore della maniera. Obecnie Krym zamieszkuje około stu dwudziestu pięciu narodów, wśród których Polacy stanowią dość niewielką grupę. Część współczesnych krymskich Polaków to potomkowie polskich uchodźców, którzy przybyli na półwysep w pierwszej połowie XX wieku. Artykuł prezentuje analizę znajdujących się w krymskich archiwach informacji dotyczących tej tematyki. Omawia historię działalności społeczno-kulturalnej polskiej społeczności w tym okresie. Opublikowane materiały mogą nie tylko zainteresować badaczy, lecz także być pomocne w odnawianiu zerwanych więzi rodzinnych, a również w rozwiązywaniu problemów napływających do Polski uchodźców, których liczba stale rośnie.

The article address the problem of limiting the rights of Protestants and other non-Catholic Christian denominations during the reigns of two kings from the Wettin dynasty - King Augustus II (1697-1733). The process started as early as the second half of the 17th century, but it was fully accomplished in the years 1717-1736. In the article the author discussed the resolutions of the sejms and other legal acts introduced at that time, the aim of which was to eliminate dissenters from public life. The Polish monarchs were inert towards the process. It was the rulers of non - Catholic European states (Prussia, Russia and Great Britain) that helped Protestants an Orthodox Christans in Poland

21. gadsimts prasa, lai ikviens būtu komunikabls un pašpārliecināts. Prezentācijas ir labs līdzeklis, uz ko balstīties situācijās, kad skolēni nejūtas pašpārliecināti uzstājoties. Diplomdarba tēma ir prezentācijas lai attīstītu vidusskolu audzēkņu publiskās uzstāšanās prasmes. Teorētiskā daļā ir aprakstīti vidusskolas skolēni 21. gadsimta skolā, viņu uzstāšanās prasmes, uzstāšanās prasmju attīstība prezentāciju laikā un prezentāciju daudzveidība. Praktiskajā daļā autore analizē anketas par prezentācijām kā vidusskolas audzēkņu uzstāšanās prasmju attīstītājām.
