One of the purposes of the Opticook project is to install spectroscopic sensors in ovens, so equipping them with non intrusive tools allowing following cooking process of meat and fish. The hypothesis on which sensors were developed was: are muscular proteins proper probes to discriminate among several cooking degrees? Given the stress produced by COVID-19, and the “bubble” safety measures for the World Sambo Championship, held in Novi Sad, from the 6th to the 8th of November, 2020, athletes might have experienced more stress than athletes normally would in non-pandemic conditions. Utilization of microbial abundance and diversity as indicators of the origin of soil aggregates produced by earthworms

This study aimed at testing the capability of microbial community structure and abundance to be used as bioindicators of the origin of earthworm cast aggregates. Compact surface casts produced by Amynthas khami and surrounding aggregates lacking visible signs of biological activity (control) were left to disaggregate by natural rainfall and separated into four size classes (5-2, 2-0.5, 0.5-0.25 and <0.25 mm). The genetic structure and the abundance of the bacterial and fungal communities were characterized using B- and F-ARISA fingerprinting approach and quantitative PCR directly from DNA extracted from soil. L’ancienne région Champagne-Ardenne est surtout connue pour des découvertes archéologiques concernant le Néolithique, les âges des métaux ou le très haut Moyen Âge. Malgré la richesse de son patrimoine bâti médiéval et moderne conservé – édifices religieux, maisons urbaines, notamment à pans de bois, caves, etc. – l’archéologie sur le bâti est longtemps restée marginale dans la région. Elle a longtemps profité des interventions sur les tours des églises dans les années 1990-2000 avant de prendre une timide autonomie dans la première décennie du XXIe siècle. C’est réellement à partir de 2018, que les interventions d’archéologie sur le bâti (civil, militaire et religieux) se sont multipliées.

L'effet de différentes sources d'azote et du rapport C/N sur la croissance mycélienne et sur l'intensité aromatique dégagée par trois espèces du genre #Morchella$ et d'une espèce du genre #Pleurotus$ a été étudié sur agar puis sur support solide. Les résultats ont été à la base du choix du nitrate de sodium comme source d'azote, du rapport C/N de 10 ainsi que du mycélium de #M. esculenta$ come source potentielle pour la production de l'arôme de morille. The aim of the article is to reveal the performance of Mārtiņš Stabiņš, a graduate of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Technology (1972; FACT) of Riga Polytechnic Institute (RPI), in the profession of engineer and high achievements in sports, becoming a Latvian champion in athletics several times, to reveal his daily life during his study years in the 1960s–1970s.
