This study aimed to cross culturally adapt the Protocol for the Exploration of Natural Metalinguistic Skills in Aphasia (MetAphAs), contributing to the future application in the aphasic Chilean population.The sample corresponds to 72 healthy subjects in the region of Valparaíso, between the ages of 50 to 85. The MetAphAs measures natural metalinguistic skills and presents the basic elements on which to base the exploration of the metacognitive dimensions involved in verbal behavior. Resumen: Para probar si el desarrollo de una pequeña localidad puede ser impulsado por el turismo asociado a la presencia en su cercanía de un área silvestre protegida, se estudió el caso de Villa Cerro Castillo, en la Región de Aysén, Patagonia chilena. Para ello se hizo un reconocimiento de los emprendimientos turísticos en la localidad y se caracterizó a los prestadores de servicio en el lugar. Desmoplastic trichilemmoma (DT), the pseudomalignant variant of conventional trichilemmoma described by Hunt et al in 1990, displays a superficial lobular growth pattern of glycogen-rich cells with peripheral nuclear palisading surrounded by a thickened basement membrane. DT differs from its conventional counterpart by showing a central hyalinized area with epithelial cords and strands mimicking invasive carcinoma. We report a case that fully satisfies the criteria for DT and, in addition, shows an extensive melanocytic cell component and prominent melanin deposition. Mudai is a traditional fermented beverage, made from the seeds of the Araucaria araucana tree by Mapuche communities. The main goal of the present study was to identify and characterize the yeast microbiota responsible of Mudai fermentation as well as from A. araucana seeds and bark from different locations in Northern Patagonia. Only Hanseniaspora uvarum and a commercial bakery strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae were isolated from Mudai and all Saccharomyces isolates recovered from A. araucana seed and bark samples belonged to the cryotolerant species Saccharomyces eubayanus and Saccharomyces uvarum. Macroeconomic determinants of Peruvian migration flows

The objective of this paper is to determine the variables associated with the weight that Peruvian immigration has in the total immigration in Chile for the period 2005-2014. The initial hypothesis is that the Peruvian migratory flow has a social and economic component. The results showed that an increase in the Human Development Index (HDI) in favor of Chile increases the migratory flow. On the other hand, a larger education budget in favor of Chile decreases the migratory flow of Peruvian citizens.

En este ensayo se reconstruye el recorrido narrativo de Christa Wolf desde una perspectiva que propongo definir como destitución mitológica. Se fijan cuatro estaciones correspondientes con las cuatro novelas cruciales en la biografía literaria de la autora. La primera es El cielo partido, en la que Wolf trabaja con el concepto de Vergangenheitsbewältigung, es decir: una elaboración del pasado que permite su superación. La segunda es Muestra de infancia, en la que aparece la figura de la precisión fantástica, entendida como la única auténtica posibilidad de memoria histórica colectiva.
