COVID-19 influenced peoples lives enormously and its impact was also seen in physical activity and exercising. This mixed methods intervention study highlights some of the impact the pandemic had on the physical activity and exercising behaviors of 10 Japanese information systems employees and students. Główną tezą tekstu jest uznanie tzw. modelu coachingowego za pierwotny i wciąż żywy sposób uprawiania filozofii. Twierdzę, że filozofia akademicka, która od kilku stuleci tkwi w tradycji scholastycznej, może być uprawiana w modelu coachingowym. W drugim paragrafie przedstawiam odróżnienie dwóch rodzajów filozofowania: Sokratejskiego – określonego w tekście mianem „coachingowego” – oraz Arystotelesowskiego, nazywanego tutaj „scholastycznym”. W trzecim paragrafie pokazuję, w jaki sposób Wiktor Frankl nawiązuje do coachingowej tradycji uprawiania filozofii w swojej praktyce terapeutycznej. W czwartym przedstawiam przykłady zastosowania modelu coachingowego w dydaktyce filozofii.

Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is one of the most rapidly increasing non-communicable diseases worldwide. Lifestyle interventions are effective in preventing T2D but also resource intensive. This study evaluated with discrete event simulation (DES) the relative budget impacts of three hypothetical diabetes prevention programs (DPP), including group-based contact intervention, digital program with human coaching and fully automated program. One common feature among the selected players in talent development programs are the well-known relative age effect (RAE), characterized by a skewed birth distribution among selected players with an over-representation of players born early in the selection year. The aim of the present study was to examine potential differences in soccer-specific skills between players selected for national talent program born in the first half of the year compared to the players born in the second half of the year. Professional learning and agency in an identity coaching programme

This article addresses the professional learning that occurred in an identity coaching programme. The arts-based programme aimed to enhance the participants’ professional learning, notably through helping them to process their professional identities. Professional learning was seen as resourced by the participants’ professional agency, and by the promotion of such agency. Through interviews, we investigated what the participants perceived they had learnt during the programme, and the potential differences in learning outcomes between professional groups from university and hospital contexts.
