Membrane-Associated Enteroviruses Undergo Intercellular Transmission as Pools of Sibling Viral Genomes

Summary Some viruses are released from cells as pools of membrane-associated virions. By increasing the multiplicity of infection (MOI), this type of collective dispersal could favor viral cooperation, but also the emergence of cheater-like viruses such as defective interfering particles. To better understand this process, we examined the genetic diversity of membrane-associated coxsackievirus infectious units. We find that infected cells release membranous structures (including vesicles) that contain 8–21 infectious particles on average. This chapter examines the politics memory and remembrance by focusing on the perceptions of citizens regarding the framework of Europeanisation and dealing with the troubled past. Although Kosovo signed the Stabilisation and Accession Agreement (SAA) with the EU, the country struggles to deal with its past in the framework of EU integration. This chapter examines the extent to which Europeanisation acts as a tool for dealing with the troubled past, or is just a superficial framework imposed from top-down policies of the EU. Isovector and isoscalar spin-multipole giant resonances in the parent and daughter nuclei of double-β-decay triplets

The strength distributions, including giant resonances, of isovector and isoscalar spin-multipole transitions in the commonly studied double-β-decay triplets are computed in the framework of the quasiparticle random-phase approximation (QRPA) using the Bonn-A two-body interaction in no-core single-particle valence spaces. The studied nuclei include the double-β parent and daughter pairs (76Ge, 76Se), (82Se, 82Kr), (96Zr, 96Mo), (100Mo, 100Ru), (116Cd, 116Sn), (128Te, 128Xe), (130Te, 130Xe), and (136Xe, 136Ba). The studied transitions proceed from the ground states to the Jπ=0−,1−,2− (spin-dipole transitions) and Jπ=1+,2+,3+ (spin-quadrupole transitions) excited states in these nuclei. Compa…

La presente obra analiza los principales pronunciamientos judiciales en relación al contenido de la carta individual de despido derivado de un despido colectivo. Se discute sobre la conveniencia de incluir la causa en la carta, así como los criterios de selección del trabajador afectado. La cuestión tiene una especial incidencia sobre un colectivo concreto: las trabajadoras embarazadas.
