Niniejszy artykuł dotyczy analizy sytuacji na rynku usług opiekuńczych świadczonych przez jednostki samorządu terytorialnego (JST), a szczególnie finansowych konsekwencji starzenia się społeczeństwa, które przejawiają się m.in. w rosnących wydatkach gmin na opłatę pobytu mieszkańców w domach pomocy społecznej (DPS). International audience; Football is an exemplary platform where the social dynamics within and between societies can be regularly observed. In addition, online message boards are a rich resource of everyday expressions where football fans express their ‘love’ of their clubs as well as their ‘disdain’ for others. We conducted a qualitative content analysis during two seasons of Olympique de Marseille and FC Bayern Munich as well as Toulouse FC and Hannover 96. The three wives problem and Shapley value

We examine the Talmudic three wives problem, which is a generalization of the Talmudic contested garment problem solved by Aumann and Maschler (1985) using coalitional procedure. This problem has many practical applications. In an attempt to unify all Talmudic methods, Guiasu (2010, 2011) asserts that it can be explained in terms of “run-to-the-bank”, that is, of Shapley value in a “cumulative game”. It can be challenged because the coalitional procedure yields the same result as the nucleolus, which corresponds to a “dual game”. Przedmiotem artykułu jest sposób funkcjonowania w obiegu społecznym pamięci o powstaniach śląskich. Ważną rolę pełnią tu opowieści byłych powstańców, które ze względu na dystans czasowy podlegają folkloryzacji i fabularyzacji (do narracji włączane są wydarzenia późniejsze, związane na przykład z przeżyciami z czasów II wojny światowej). Wspomnienia drukowane są w antologiach, zrealizowano również projekt Filmowa encyklopedia powstań śląskich, gdzie o życiu powstańców opowiadają ich potomkowie. Assortment, but not knowledge of assortment, affects cooperation and individual success in human groups

The success or failure of human collective action often depends on the cooperation tendencies of individuals in groups, and on the information that individuals have about each other's cooperativeness. However, it is unclear whether these two factors have an interactive effect on cooperation dynamics. Using a decision-making experiment, we confirm that groups comprising individuals with higher cooperation tendencies cooperate at a higher level than groups comprising individuals with low cooperation tendencies.
