Resum: En 1365 va tenir lloc una disputa davant la cort del governador de Mallorca per la propietat d’un falcó entre els donzells Berenguer de Galiana i Bernat Togores, en la qual es veu involucrat l’ensinistrador d’aus de caça Bernat Llemosí. Els testimonis que foren presentats per aclarir els fets permeten obtenir una informació molt valuosa, i en part inèdita, del que fou la pràctica d’aquesta art venatòria en el context de les illes Balears, i per extensió en l’Occident europeu. En aquest treball proposem una edició completa del document i en fem un estudi exhaustiu.

TRIGA-SPEC: the prototype of MATS and LaSpec

Investigation of short-lived nuclei is a challenging task that MATS and LaSpec will handle at the low energy branch of Super-FRS at FAIR. The groundwork for those experiments is laid-out already today at the TRIGA-SPEC facility as a powerful development platform located at the research reactor TRIGA Mainz. The latest status, new developments and first results of commissioning runs are presented here.

In the 2011 campaign the southern and central apses, as well as the southern nave of the abbey church of St Peter, together with its immediate surroundings were excavated. The primary analysis of the eastern part of the Venetian town wall was undertaken as well. The geophysical survey of the western and south-eastern parts of the complex has equally been continued. Error and Uncertainty Analysis of the Residual Stresses Computed by Using the Hole Drilling Method

:  The hole-drilling method is one of the most used techniques for the experimental analysis of the residual stresses in mechanical components. For both through-thickness uniform and non-uniform residual stress distributions, its application is standardised by the ASTM E837-08. In accordance with the ASTM limitations, the analysis of uniform residual stresses, to which the present work deals with, leads in general to results with a maximum bias of about 10%. Turing Instability and Pattern Formation for the Lengyel–Epstein System with Nonlinear Diffusion

In this work we study the effect of density dependent nonlinear diffusion on pattern formation in the Lengyel---Epstein system. Via the linear stability analysis we determine both the Turing and the Hopf instability boundaries and we show how nonlinear diffusion intensifies the tendency to pattern formation; in particular, unlike the case of classical linear diffusion, the Turing instability can occur even when diffusion of the inhibitor is significantly slower than activator's one. In the Turing pattern region we perform the WNL multiple scales analysis to derive the equations for the amplitude of the stationary pattern, both in the supercritical and in the subcritical case.
