This paper presents an analysis of the intervention dose-effect of the Parent Child Psychological Support Program© (Cerezo 1990) a program aimed at promoting protective adaptive system in children which is offered to all new-borns in a given catchment area. The program offers support to parents during the first 18 months of the baby's life. The program dose-effect is examined regarding the parents by examining the level of distress reported by them and with babies by examining the development of attachment using the Strange Situation test of Ainsworth et al. Los seres humanos parecen tener dificultades para tomar decisiones cooperativas y racionales, en beneficio propio y de los demás, después de haber experimentado un conflicto intergrupal. Tras el conflicto, los miembros del otro grupo despiertan emociones negativas en los miembros del propio grupo, que dificultan dicha racionalidad, algo que es congruente con las teorías sobre el razonamiento y la toma de decisiones más aceptadas actualmente. Sin embargo, la racionalidad cooperativa se puede estimular involucrando a las personas en discusiones grupales donde se pueda deliberar de manera más pausada acerca de las decisiones a tomar.

One of the most intensive processes in the development of Polish transport infrastructure is currently modernizing main national railway lines. One of them is the railway line between Poznan and Szczecin. During the realization of such projects there occur conflicts in fulfilling different ecosystem functions by landscapes. The aim of this paper is to bring to attention the problem of genuine reconciliation between the black native population of Australia and its (white) European settlers, who have been dominating the nation in terms of political, economic and cultural power since its foundation in 1901. The focus is on political speeches stemming from open conflict to a formal Parliament’s apology for mistreatment of, especially, Stolen Generations of the later 20th century, which also has got its reflections in some prominent works of Australian literature, like Sally Morgan’s My Place (1987) and Kim Scott’s Benang (1999).

The aim of the article is to argue for the usefulness of public diplomacy and legitimacy of its application as a complementary tool for traditional diplomacy in the area of conflict resolution. Public diplomacy, due to its specificity, is part of changes in internationał relations and thus promotes approaches and offers tools that seem to be functional in various types and at different stages of internationał conflicts.
