In the present text, I’ll dwell upon the tensions or contradictions in the philosophy of Schopenhauer, and I’ll try to understand them instead of accusing the philosopher of irrationality or inconsequence. The first part of the text investigates Schopenhauer’s theory of knowledge under the aspects of difference and passage, and the second part investigates the liason between etchis and aesthetics searching for an answer for the question of the present identity in the determination of compassion as an expression of the knowledge of the unity of the will.

Este artigo descreve o conhecimento tático declarativo (CTD) apresentado por treinadores de tênis considerando: a socialização pré-profissional; escolaridade; nível de jogo; experiência com a modalidade como tenista e treinador; e local de atuação profissional. We contribute to existing knowledge by combining these two topics and considering a third one: The role of multinational companies (MNCs) as a source of learning for the entrepreneur. In this paper we discuss the perspective of Sociology of Knowledge Approach to Discourse (SKAD) as a possible strategy applicable to studies framed by decolonial thought. The reflection is approached by comparing key concepts of both perspectives, such as discourse, power and knowledge, as well as their methodological premises. The results allow us to point out potentials of SKAD as a conceptual-methodological reference for investigations towards decoloniality, e.g. the SKAD analysis dimensions patterns of interpretation and narrative structure. Nanosecond-level time synchronization of autonomous radio detector stations for extensive air showers

To exploit the full potential of radio measurements of cosmic-ray air showers at MHz frequencies, a detector timing synchronization within 1 ns is needed. Large distributed radio detector arrays such as the Auger Engineering Radio Array (AERA) rely on timing via the Global Positioning System (GPS) for the synchronization of individual detector station clocks. Unfortunately, GPS timing is expected to have an accuracy no better than about 5 ns. In practice, in particular in AERA, the GPS clocks exhibit drifts on the order of tens of ns.
